I think there's zero chance Disney would give EA the first crack at revealing who Rey's parents are.
This is a company that obsessively protects their investments, to the point we knew next to nothing about TFA before it released, and we know next to nothing about TLJ.
If they decide to reveal who Rey's parents are, it's going to be through a piece of media they have complete control over, not a video game that was published by a developer who fell ass-backwards into the Star Wars license.
I'm already surprised it ties in that much with the trilogy as it appearently does without the implied stuff.

bandai unveiled a new Figuarts TLJ figure, it's Luke. There's some accessory stuff that could be considered spoilers I guess so I'll put it in tags

LucasFilm really pushed for fleshing out the Star Wars story in an official way outside of the movies, and Disney seems to have picked that up. They don't really seem to care what the medium is, everyone seems to get the chance to show things from the movies or the main cast and push the narrative a little.
Maybe it means that Rey's parents are a mystery box that is never intended to be opened by the films. And that gave EA the freedom to imply whatever they want so long as they didn't confirm it. So, officially, they aren't, but they might be. But there'll never be confirmation either way.

That who her parents were never mattered but what they were did. I imagine there is gonna be some drama in her parents having been stanch imperials.

Since I'm currently in prequel mood, I went ahead and bought Racer Revenge and Bounty Hunter for PS4, since I never really played them
Racer Revenge is cool! It also features teen Anakin saying "that's so wizard," and also you buy shit from Watto, so it's hard to fuck up
I started Bounty Hunter, and hey guess what, the X-axis of the camera goes the wrong way and there's no way to correct it in the options. Exited out and uninstalled, fucking trash
One out of two ain't bad, I suppose
Jedi Starfighter is also on PS4 but I never was too big on any flight games, and from what I hear it's not a great one anyways?
rey just didnt buy enough loot boxes to unlock her parents

Amidst all the Star Wars game speculation, one great question arises, it has been asked time and time again but it resounds, resonating with people from all four corners of the globe...
"Why the fucking hell haven't they made a new Pod Racer game? No not that other shitty Star Wars racer doesn't count, but seriously though, it was great why the fuck hasn't anyone made another one?"

Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration. - Lincoln
Personally right now I'm wondering why the fuck we never got a good Clone Wars game based on the animated show
It appears there were some trash ones
But damn, watching Clone Wars it is quickly becoming apparent that this is the absolute ripest era that you could set a great game in
We'll never get it from EA, obviously

Aside from the shitty Jedi segments, that one Clone Wars game for Gamecube/PS2/Xbox was really good. Great vehicle combat, fun objective-based missions ala Rogue Squadron, some decent local multiplayer modes...

Republic Commando is still one of the best Star Wars games ever made, even if it was made before they pivoted on how they wanted to represent that era.

I never got to play it, but KOTOR is on Xbox One BC, maybe they'll do the same for Republic Commando
it's the whole "scroll down to go up" method of thinking
No, it's "it should be like a flight stick!"
but then implemented by someone who's never actually used a flight stick.
No, like Shorty said it's using the stick to tell the camera where to move, not the view.
If you imagine the camera as a floating object that moves along a sphere that always maintains a fixed distance from the player and aims in a fixed direction, pushing left to move the camera object left will then cause the view to shift to the right.
All games these days should have camera settings to invert/not invert at your leisure, anyhow. It always throws me for a loop when there isn't an option.
I always invert both of 'em whenever I have the options. Always felt more intuitive to me, though I'm not sure why. I guess in my head I think of it as swinging a stationary mounted camera? So you'd push the 'back' of it left to swing the view to the right.
Inverting vertical makes sense to me when moving in a 3D space. It’s not up and down, it’s forward and backward. Pushing forward on left stick moves you forward, on right stick pushes your vision down. Pulling back on left moved you back, on right pulls your field of view up. Left is still left, right is still right.
Inverted controls will never make sense to me from a first person camera unless it's like, a plane or something and I have a joystick
3rd person games it kinda depends on the game. Something like Mass Effect I'll never play with inverted camera controls, but for like Zelda and stuff it's okay
inverted player controls never (except for flying stuff with a joystick)

So I went ahead and checked what they had for opening night, and they had totally had some seats available
Two rows from the front, which yeah not ideal, but the seats recline enough that it shouldn't cause neck strain (you're basically laying down)
So now I have tickets purchased for two separate showtimes of a movie that isn't even out yet

Satans..... hints.....
It isn't that unintuitive as inquisitor and shorty said. It isn't press right to go right, it's press right to rotate the camera right.
