After watching the video again I think Isabelle is going to be a Mario-Luigi kinda deal with villager.
She shares some stuff with them, like the bug net grab and pocket as a B move, but her normals look pretty different. Her down B is probably that fire hydrant dude popping out of the ground, and the fishing rod is probably her side B.

I don't despise FF8. It has Triple Triad, my favorite minigame!
The only one I've liked is XV, and even then only until it really goes full Final Fantasy towards the end there, but up to that point I really really liked it
The name Princess Toadstool has always kinda implied that Peach is a toad-person in some way, right? Which is good because otherwise her administration would be an apartheid. (Apartoad?)
