Hi fight thread. I got a copy of sc6 from secret saints.
But seeing as I have no experience with 3d fighters much less sc games you guys got any good youtube channels to watch to pick up the basics and systems from?
Aris is occasionally a very gross human, but he produces a lot of good content for the 3D fighter community through Avoid The Puddle on YouTube and Twitch. He makes a variety of stuff, so you might have to browse the channel a bit to pick up the basics.
Oh man, I forgot Hayate! He's a French player who does a lot of character-specific videos that give you a summary overview of strengths and weaknesses.
TWT is coming up but it's at an unholy hour for me in the North American continent.
How do you all plan on consuming it? It feels unfortunate to have to get up in the morning and just see the result rather than seeing it live, but then again that's what much of the rest of the world has to deal with when tournaments are run over here, so I can't complain TOO much.
Some history about Rip's 'France loves me' and 'No Germans ever threatened to punch me before' comments: once upon a time Rip pissed off French player Super Akouma so bad that he got in his face and threatened to knock him out.
