the little people inside the square have problems i can relate to:

like that tiny man what is a horse and his depression,

or that tiny lady with the rude language what keeps doing a groundhog day,

or even the tiny old ladies what are ravenous for cheesecake.

do you like the tv, too, friends?

do you have any friends on the tv?

what about the friends from friends?

let's talk about the tv, everybody.

My most recent friend from the TV is the lady from Infinity Train who is very smart but eats onions like apples and I cannot abide that

Let's just talk about Friends for a hundred pages

A lot of people have unrealistic dreams of having a pet monkey, but having a Pet Duck and Chicken seems way better to me honestly

My friends on the TV went on vacation for a bit. I hope they come back soon!

I mean that was half of the problem.

Honestly it was mostly just a toss-up - is this episode going to open with a brutal crime scene, or is it going to be a lavish feast? Am I going to be looking at Mads Mikkelsen without a shirt, or some food prep that makes me nauseous to watch?

Boy they are really grasping for ideas and losing sight of the interesting parts of the show at the end of this Forged in Fire season

This one A) has a shitty tie in with the bad Robin Hood movie from last year and B) has them forging a weird collapsable steel bow like the weird fantasy bow from that movie which

Ain't an edged weapon at all and is barely even the same kinda challenge

    Hyperdrive, episode 7
made me angry. If you're going to decide after an obstacle wrecks someone car and sends them to hospital in an ambulance that it's too dangerous and you probably shouldn't wreck people's cars, the person who's car was wrecked should not get eliminated.

I didn't get to the end of the episode before I had to leave for work, so I'm hoping they announce she gets a wildcard entry to season 2 if they have one or something like that.

Had some time to watch an episode of Patriot.

"'Dick Cheney' is a funny name for an episode of television," I thought. "Wonder why they called it that."

20 minutes in, I realized why one might title an episode of television "Dick Cheney"

I spent an additional 20 minutes begging these motherfuckers to just do the thing, do ANY OF THE POTENTIAL THINGS, goddammit, quit letting me exist under this UNBEARABLE TENSION

    Anyway, Patriot continues to rule

You will without fail get one or two bad tie in eps a season...it's how they keep the lights on. The bows actually turned out reasonably cool at least.

So we're down to just one of the main cast without an actor/actress, right? I'm wondering if they're angling for a big name with Thom. Seems a good role to get a headline-grabber.

Okay I keep asking people I know in real life but this may be a bit farther afield:

My family has always called the television remote "the buttons". I grew up thinking it was just a typical term, but nobody I've ever mentioned this to has ever heard of it.

Was it really just my family?

    My family absolutely never did.

But now I really wish they had?
