Ah, it's Saturday, a day of rest and relaxation
We've all had a hard week, it's time to kick back, take it easy, and enjoy internet radio that is for some reason named after the iPod years after its discontinuation

They of course spend 1 of the 3 hours of its running time talking about Star Wars, and Gethard comes out of the gate with some extremely hot takes:
#1- he has reversed his previous position on The Last Jedi and decided it's a horrible, cynical movie and "why do you want Star Wars to make you think, that's not Star Wars"
#2 - The Rise of Skywalker, though? now that's a picture! third best Star Wars movie, only behind Empire and Rogue One!
#3 - also just for fun Uncut Gems is bad too
he's come out with a knife for me personally
I wish it were weekly though tbh
Oh wait
reading this made me wince so hard I pulled a muscle
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor
My new novel: Maledictions: The Offering. Now in Paperback!
Anyways, the Flophouse bonus episode was great and Natalie Walker is a gem.
Sounds dope

his whole thing is throwing himself out there as the punching bag
they're his genuine opinions but he's doing a whole heel thing and on some level I have to respect it

I have to agree with Rob that the ST plays too fast and loose with the concept of time and distance.

Except that it still was in the background enough that you could ignore it. Episode 9 is almost deliberately trying to rub everything in your face that hey, actually, everything is down the block from everything else and the only reason it would take more than an instant to get anywhere at any time is if we wanted it to. There's no verisimilitude.

Jason Manzoukis and Paul Scheer didn't say anything about it when they were on his show, so if such a joke had been made, it's so long ago that even making it has lost mirth for them.

I think it's dead dead
Its pretty clear Valve has some kind of ownership of employee creative works clause, I think. And a fairly strict one, I'd bet.
I thought that was primarily for projects started after employment. I used to be part of a (now defunct) manga podcast, and an actual online publication which did podcasts hired one of the other hosts and we still would have retained ownership/could have kept doing it. However, with the change in schedules it just ended up too much of a hassle.
I mean I can only speculate obvs, but it sure seems to be a pattern.

And having just researched it, it seems incredibly dumb.
