My grip isn't very good so I wouldn't be very comfortable hanging on my cubicle wall, no.

You know, with all the very specific brewing methods around coffee, I'm surprised there aren't more specialized kinds of coffee cups the way there are wine and beer glasses for different types.

Oh, there are. From the left, espresso, "full-bodied, chocolatey, nutty, or dark roasts", "fruity, citrusy, or light roasts"; and the last two are for brewing into / serving from rather than drinking from directly, but even there they're different.

This is the cup I drink my tea in, and it's actually labeled a coffee cup, though it's only slightly larger than the eastern-style teacups this company makes, and in comparison to the description in the comic, it's got a much wider mouth and shorter height than every other coffee cup I've seen:

    fztz3yz2zrv9.jpg

I really like the glaze this artisan company does, but I really wish they'd make them at about triple the size. Still, I like drinking my tea out of this cup, so as a work around I bought an 8oz coffee cup with a spout sold by an etsy potter, I make my tea in that, then pour individual servings into this "coffee" cup so I can enjoy the special cup and also actually see my tea.

After a while, explaining behaviour becomes excusing it.
I don't think we learned much that was new, well we did get Tony's viewpoint, some details.
But all i am left from this so far is going "Yes, and?"

Tony does not want to be abusive parent, he merely is.
Now instead of explaining why Tony is as he is, please show me what he is doing to stop doing what he does.

It's not the end of the chapter yet. Maybe there'll be someone wo finally does the next step to actually do something about it.

Get another Tony from a different timeline.
Have Zimmy merge him with this one.
BOOM problem solved. Or made A LOT worse. I dunno, just spitballing here, you guys.

All stories should culminate in the characters going to therapy. Maybe doing some yoga and practicing mindfulness too.

The first step to changing anything is understanding it.
And what do you have in mind? Jones has already offered "have you tried talking to her about it", which is clearly about as effective advice as "have you tried not being gay", or in my case "have you tried not being terrified of spiders". The notion that this is an easy fix that the people involved just don't want to go to the effort of doing is insulting to everyone involved.

True story; I actually assaulted my Year 6 teacher when they tried to 'cure' my arachnophobia by dropping a spider on my hand. I freaked out, threw the spider across the classroom, shoved the teacher over a desk when they tried to stop me, and ran all the way home in the middle of the day. I think I only started thinking clearly again about halfway there. That teacher got in serious trouble for it, too.

Can Gunnerkrigg Court just have a regular badguy, all these grey-shaded misunderstood antagonists make it really hard to root for someone to get incinerated by Harriet Potter.

Maybe it's just me but it seems like this page is a clear indication that this chapter was never about Tony at all. This is going to be about Annie and the way that she has changed since Tony arrived.

50 Tea Recipes from the Duchess: Ep 14 Party Planning

I still won't put milk in my tea, but it's interesting to know there's a specific way to prepare tea for milk!

Edit: I actually just ordered some chocolate caramel herbal tea because the combo sounds good, though normally I'm not a fan of flavored teas. I find it interesting the way this comic talks about "scented" teas as opposed to flavored teas. I'd be very interested to find a tea company that uses scents instead of flavorings, but so far I've had no luck on that score.

Chocolate caramel herbal tea was difficult to find. The one company that had it also had rose hip tea, another thing I wanted to try because of a chapter in the comic, so I ordered that as well. Sadly this particular company didn't have lapsang souchong or I would have ordered a sample of that too, caffeine be damned.

A girl I had a crush on once pulled me into her bed and put her tongue in my mouth. A couple of weeks later she very frustratedly explained like one would to a child that she was into me and that I should have taken that as a hint.

I'm reminded of an interaction, years ago now, that still enrages me: an online friend (no longer a friend now, obviously) telling a much younger and more impressionable me that all girls always know when guys are interested in them. And if they don't, they're either stupid or lying. Because not like it's possible for girls, that completely different species from from normal humans, to be introverted, inexperienced, or have low self esteem.
