If it means Inhumans never happened, I have to say it's worth it.
And I loved AoS.
Inhumans happened in their own little bubble that never effected any other series. Someone saw the writing on the wall just in time to keep that turd out of the punch bowl.

Imo they gave up their chance to keep agents of shield when they decided not to reveal that Coulson was still alive. The farther away from that moment we get the weirder the reveal would be.

i thought they already established that agents of shield was an alternate universe
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Apparently there was a book for the official MCU timeline through phase 4 that came out late last year that didn't include anything for Coulson after Loki killed him in Avengers.
Supposedly, there is a mention of other stories that are canon but aren't a part of the "Sacred Timeline" that they were hinting at revisiting with the multiversal storyline. Whether or not this is still going to be a thing given Majors was shown the door is a big question mark though.

Echo
An indigenous man running over two truckloads of heavily armed goons with a monster truck is the most American thing I have ever seen.
Hey the marvels was a lot of fun. Kamala and family still steal every scene they’re in, but the main three was a really nice dynamic and everyone got some nice focus. The conceit of the swapping was set up though like just enough, but seeing it in action I felt more than happy to just roll with it. And tying the conflict in to some sins of the past stuff finally felt like the time we really needed to see who captain marvel is post brainwashing and a couple cameos.
If you want to try and figure out what's canon as a fun little thought experiment or fan speculation exercise, I think you're more than welcome to do so, but the answer as to "what's canon" on Marvel's end is almost certainly completely dependent on two things: whether or not a current project wants to reference something that's already happened, or whether they think they can do a marketing push to get you to watch something on Disney+ or whatever.

Also man, give it up for a tight 90
The movie is an hour and forty five minutes
That's a loose 90 at best

I liked Echo for the most part, but kind of dislike it is still an origin story. I can't speak to the authenticity, but I love that it highlighted a culture that doesn't get much attention in media with the Choctaw and deaf people and using ASL. Episode 4 felt kind of filler, which is impressive in a 5 episode season, but that seems to be a prerequisite when Kingpin is involved.
Loved whenever they would drop the sound to put you in Maya's shoes, especially the last confrontation with Kingpin. Maya's family and relationships are the highlight of the show. The action is decent, but not amazing, and I'd kind of put ymthe whole Kingpin story in that category. But the family dynamics are so good it kind of doesn't matter.
Loved how everybody in Maya's family learned ASL and Kingpin says they're family, but doesn't ever learn it and always has a translater.
I kind of hate how Kingpin can't die, but I did love the stinger of him deciding to run for mayor.
The Marvels is out on Disney+ today, so I finally saw it. My biggest takeaway was...
They had Kamala and her family move out of New Jersey? To Louisiana? WTF?
I thought that was them taking care of Monica's affairs since she was effectively dead. Unless I'm forgetting a line of dialog or something.
It showed them bringing a bunch of boxes in, and the mom told the son that it'd be a good house for him to raise a family in one day. So I assumed they were moving in.
It didn't make a lot of sense that they would do that, but I chalked it up to the movie being heavily edited down to meet a mandate about runtime.

I thought that it's Carol's stuff, given that it lingers directly on a weird plate seen earlier on the ship and she implies she's going to be taking care of the plane
It's a huge failure of editing that nobody knows why the hell anyone is on that farm, and a big problem is that it presents two options, neither of which make a ton of sense:
1) Carol is moving into Maria's old house. Sure. She has superpowers, and has been living on a spaceship for decades. Why does she have this many boxes, and why does she need help moving? It makes the most sense that she'd settle in where she had good memories on Earth to try to reconnect (it would make more sense if they hadn't bounced Maria off into synergy-land).
2) Kamala's family is moving to Louisiana because their house got destroyed. From an A to B plot standpoint: this makes sense! They need a home. There's a home available that they don't need to search for! But one of Kamala's biggest strength as a character in the comics is that she has a lot of deep ties to a specific place, and to the community in that place. Pulling her out of New Jersey sucks. I guess it ultimately doesn't matter, because odds are pretty good that we're never seeing another season of Ms. Marvel or another "the Marvels" movie, but why put yourself in that position?

C. Wasn't her brother getting married? Maybe the house is for him and his wife.
But yeah, the fact that it isn't really clear is a failing of the movie.

My favorite bad bit in the marvels was
"I knew it had to be me?"
SINCE WHEN? YOU MADE THIS PLAN 5 MINUTES AGO?

SINCE WHEN? YOU MADE THIS PLAN 5 MINUTES AGO?
I think for me the biggest piece of editing weirdness was
How they left the Skrull refugee planet still in possession of their suits, travel to the musical beach planet and suddenly all need new, much worse looking suits. I get that you need to change up the outfits every movie for merch, but there didn’t seem to be any real logic to them needing new suits within the movie itself, they should still be in Carol’s ship.
I just watched the movie and I enjoyed it, but I love Kamala and her family so that carries a lot of the movie. Iman Vellani does great going between being star struck and a hero.
The biggest problem as it is in so many Marvel movies is the villain being uninteresting.
Kamala, Carol, and Monica have good chemistry and their stuff together is a lot of fun. The switching place fights are good too. All the cgi cities look like they came from a mediocre video game.
The Flerkin stuff is fun as a way to evacuate everyone. The ending kind of comes out of nowhere and happens so fast. Even with the flaws it's a fun watch.
First impressions and all: opening your movie with a scene in the most lackluster, grey, obviously cgi looking desert with grey CGI stone props is certainly something you can do
I just realized Secret Invasion had zero bearing on this movie. In fact, other than Talos being absent, it makes less sense for Secret Invasion to have happened than for it to have not.

My assumption was that there was originally a direct connection during the Skrull planet bits, and then when dates changed and secret invasion turned into a miniseries it got written around. It definitely makes it easier for everyone to ignore secret invasion forever though

Only Carol's was actively bad because all the color drained out of it.
