Whenever Blind Arbiter enters the battlefield or attacks, draw two cards then discard a card.
Whenever you discard a card, target creature an opponent controls gets -X/-0 until your next turn, where X is the number of different mana values between cards in your graveyard.
There's currently no way to generate a turn 1 treasure*, but a number of 2s. Your best bet would be opening on Shambling Ghast and then eat it with Deadly Dispute.
*In Standard. In Modern you have both Strike It Rich and Ragavan (assuming you can swing and hit on turn 2).

oh shit it's Dr. Manhattan
Is that also going to be the new kind of graveyard threshold teased? Overall it seems pretty fair, backbreaking in limited but fair.

I guess it's different enough from Embodiment of Agonies to be considered its own thing

if it's a subtheme of effects that cares about having different mana values in your graveyard then that could partly explain the new-Panoramas, gives you a (somewhat clunky) way to get an MV 0 into the yard.

if a deck lets you resolve bruvac with enough mana to do something else they deserve it

are these Casualty spells likely to revive any Magecraft creatures? I haven't seen Sedgemoor Witch in a minute.

Sedgemoor Witch specifically seems primed to get mileage out of Cas1 spells. Not sure if any others have a shot.
I think Sedgemoor Witch may be the only one that's going to benefit from Casualty. It's the Maestro mechanic, yes? The majority of magecraft creatures that actually saw play were white, though I tried really hard to make Dragonsguard Elite work, and there was Witherbloom Apprentice. I guess an attempt could be made at an Orzhov Magecraft using stuff like Grisly Sigil up there, but within the Grixis/Maestro colors? Basically just the witch.

Meanwhile I'm probably the only person in the world excited to see a Faerie Vandal reprint, I assume

Yeah the next best in Grixis are probably Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Sorcerer, and that's asking a bit on both counts.
Professor Onyx could get a bit of a boost, maybe. Being fed spiders from Lolth sounds good for both.
Feels like a missed opportunity to have had the April Fool’s joke this year be a few early card previews except with the creature types changed to beast

Hmm. Rob the Archives seems interesting, but Reckless Impulse gives you longer to play the cards.
Mage's Attendant seems kind of good for limited? Not because I expect to counter anything, but just because it's a good price for the bodies (though the token does help with multiple faction mechanics)

Errant, Street Artist
U
Legendary Creature - Human Rogue
Flash
Defender, haste
1U, T: Copy target spell you control that wasn't cast. You may choose new targets for the copy.
that's... extremely narrow. For 1UU you get an extra copy of a spell you already Casualtied, and maybe you get to use it again once or twice?
Sure, but if that's all the copying in your deck she probably doesn't make the cut.
Well, obviously. But how often is that the only copying in a deck? She copies things from Isochron, that new red enchantment, Echo Mage, whatever. J-G 2.0 is one of the rare times you get to copy artifacts with her though.

7/6 but yeah. Can still be Fatal Pushed and most white removal doesn't care how big it is, but that's a real threat.
Problem is it's not evasive, has no protection, etc etc. And if you're going to go in for something like that why not just cheat a hammer?

Mill for days
Lose 3/4 of your library for 6 and a 2/2? Looks like Mill's back on the menu!
