    It's also a US sports vs. other countries. US owners aren't going to give the fans a break if they can squeeze another dollar out of them unlike some teams in Europe that know they can't do that. Case in point, your example.

    to be fair, european teams are doing it too

    nearly half the teams in the PL increased their season ticket prices by over 10% over the last year, look at united's price gouging recently (and i'm a united fan)

    germany is the only major country that can't get away with it, every other major league is run by dinosaurs who say shit like "kids don't like football anymore, we need to make a football tiktok" while ignoring the fact that most people turned to piracy after ridiculous price hikes
