I don't remember a whole lot about the second and third movies, but I didn't dislike them.

I freely admit that I'm not terribly picky when it comes to sequels or TV series continuing into many seasons, even if they're not very good. I just like seeing more story with characters I already know and like. It's pretty lame, but that's how I am.

Sometimes I just like stories in general. I'll catch myself watching a TV show that I really don't like because I saw part of it and I want to know how it ends. My wife really likes Charmed and I really really don't, but sometimes I end up watching a full episode if she already has it on because I saw part of the beginning and I can't leave a story unfinished.

Slip your friend some sleeping pills late at night. Dress a room up to look like a hospital room or hospice room, get a birthday cake for about 3-5 years older than he really is. Wake him up the next morning by having everyone over with the candles lit, solemly singing happy birthday and then act all amazed when he wakes up from his "coma" all "It's so good to have you back boohoohoo".

i'm the same way with friends. some of the bits are funny, but on the whole it's pretty dull. but when my girlfriend has an episode on, i have to finish watching it. sometimes i have to bug her about how the arc ends.

Keanu totally sucks as an actor, but it looks like they finally put his disjointed, not quite natural way of delivering lines to good use. I actually think he might be really good in this:

Keanu was good in Matrix 1 because he was supposed to be really confused and disoriented.

Actually I found that the entire scene played out the concept of God vs Human pretty well.

It's got its own philosophical failings, but more importantly it's an example of some pretty piss-poor storytelling. It's the climax of the mysteries we saw in the first half of the trilogy, but they don't show it, they just tell it - in an awfully acted dialog exchange between two characters. There are so many better ways of presenting that kind of resolution to your audience - they could have made Neo's choice revelatory, instead the average audience member was either confused, bored or annoyed with the most important scene in the trilogy.

Quite right. Interesting. That was quicker than the others.

    oh god am I

    TRAPPED IN A MATRIX???

Also, why does everyone who comes back into the matrix have to dress like a fucking tool? Leather trenchcoat, knee-high alligator boots and sunglasses at night for no fucking reason. Either bring some Kevlar or dress like a normal person.

seriously what the fuck is this:

WE HAVE BEEN FREED FROM THE MATRIX AND ITS COMPETENT HAIRSTYLISTS

I don't know I think they look pretty fucking cool. well ok some of them.

    Late but
I enjoy how badass they are
    they need to wear sunglasses
despite the fact they "scorched the sky"
    so they can't
