Hey Janson I wont be in the country for all of November.
Also, I would be tentative to go anyways seeing as I dont particularly know you well on the forums personally outside of occasional conversation.
However, I do want to wish you the best in America anyways. As a fellow Brit I hope you dont forget the good olde worlde and Im sure you'll be back to visit one day. More and more of my friends and family are emigrating across the pond (half my family lives in Canada or America already) and I can easily see myself following suit. There is something oppressive about Britain and I can feel it more and more as I get older. Great place, perhaps the greatest, but I think you are making the absolute perfect decision here and it will turn out awesome no doubt about it.
Im buying you a hypothetical pint of bitter right now. three cheers.
8th-9th November should be do-able. If this is the definite date then I'll see if japan can make sure he's not working, and sort out the brother's house hotel for the weekend.
my chances of going to this are slim depending on whether i get this new job or not. if i get the new job then i won't be able to go, but i'll be in california next year and i can see you then janson.

Thank you!
I certainly won't forget ol' England - all my family are here, they'll certainly not permit me to. I am really looking forward to leaving, though!
so any ideas what's happening on this magical weekend?
me and japan are defintely thinking of coming down for random PA fun!
Something cheap! My friends will probably have more ideas. Um, fun shenanigans of some kind. Before we've been to public art galleries, sat in pubs and had lovely walks along the Thames, to give you a few examples.

It's relevant.
Though I do not envy her flights. Not one bit.

She's stopping in Toronto to visit family this weekend to break it up, but yeah, that's a lot of hours in super-dry climate control and cramped seating.
What's really fun is flying for twelve hours and having to land then transfer to another plane to fly you an hour further just because the airport that you want to go to doesn't take 747s any more.

can't wait for this, better try and organise holidays or swaps
god i'm taking so much time off this year
since i know like two people here and that could use some changing
You'd better all turn up. If you do, we'll have doubled the last meet-up's attendance and that's before all my friends come!
No I didn't mean that.
Maybe.
Edit: Oh wait it's okay I just remembered that Mojo is going to wear a dress.
Now, whether I'll have any money on top of that to pay for shipping/driving lessons/wedding is another matter!
But at the very least, I'll be there.
Or the Sexily cheap megabus
or maybe i should just space out my trips and not try and go everywhere in 1 year

I think that's everything up to date so far.
Guessing we'd be getting arseholed?

You'd better!
your attendance is compulsory
how dreadful
or not!
I am excited about this as it means I get to see her again in a week and a bit.
And I just felt like posting about it here.
Though I do not envy her flights. Not one bit.
I had to fly back to CA the day after arriving in Heathrow one time. That week was the worst.
