    Indigo Prophecy started a whole lot better then it finished.

    I liked the beginning bits a lot though.

    I really don't remember that game very well.

    I remember some level where you're in some shut-in's house and there's a birdcage of some significance, like, there's an item there or something?

    I don't know I enjoyed playing it but it has not stuck with me in any sense, at all.
    Also; am I insane or was there some corporeal computer virus or some shit at the end?

    The ending of Indigo Prophecy
    involved the whole world freezing over for some reason or other. I don't really remember how it happened. It was pretty out of left field.

    Everything up until then was excellent, especially the parts with the ex(very well presented).

    At least that was enjoyable up until
    they killed her off for no reason whatsoever.

    Impressions so far:

    Atmosphere overall is good
    Soundtrack is what you would expect from a Silent Hill game
    I'm seeing a little too much from the movie. How do you screw that up?
    Controls were a little difficult at first. I was more inclined to go with inverted controls because third person just works that way for me, but I have confirmed that inverted aim on PS3 does nothing. Hope they fix that.
    And button pressing mini games? I thought we were done with that.

    Also Indigo Prophecy was tight as hell if you didn't care about the plot. Especially considering it went from, "Oh ok that's kinda neat," to "WHAT THE FUCK I AM FIGHTING THE INTERNET"

    Be like me and buy one of the Wireless Adaptors for the original Xbox (THEY STILL WORK, YO).

    I got mine for like $30

    First I have a God of War style boss battle immediately followed by a "here's a shotgun escape from this building while being assaulted by monsters"

    It was, but I couldn't think of any recent "true" survival horror games. Which sorta helps prove my point, I guess.

    Yeah, RE4 kinda boned us. I doubt we'll ever see a "survival horror game" again that doesn't have a musclebound ex-special forces soldier toting around an assault rifle.

    That really doesn't look any fun at all.

    It's like if the God of War battle system was just the button combos.

    They're fun, but making the entire combat system out of it is kind of stupid.
