We were looking specifically for you for our 10 man archavon the other night. Since we wanted to take people who didn't get into naxx. Nothing dropped for you so don't feel too bad.
I just don't like the idea of rotations in the first place. It's totally cool that some people want to calculate to the second how to mathematically maximize dps, but I'd rather just do what is fun and still do good damage.
Last time we did the 25-man Archavon PUG, one out of our three healers spent 90% of the fight with a completely locked up computer. Nobody died.
well the word is that wotlk is a taaad too easy. But then I'll take a little easy to encounters that require smashing my head against a wall for a month.

How quick is it to level to 70 now? Right now I'm levelling a warrior on my girlfriend's first server because we're pretty attached to her guild, but I think I'd like to be a shambler sometime and see the Horde side of things.
I too have been pinching pennies about playing. I kind of want to play with some friends, but I'd have to buy wrath, and level a new character, or one from like 66 tops as my only 70 was horde and they play alliance.
But they always end up just running off in their merry band to do silly instances and things when I'm not around, and I arrive at my computer 5 minutes into their run and rrrrrggghh.

instances are anywhere from a quarter to half as time consuming as BC instances
you could just fit in another instance after they finish

No I'm pretty sure they're independent... I could be wrong but that's how I play (granted arcane shot and aimed shot get switched around a bit)

i had to resort to grouping with other people to get the zul'drak quest achievement...
you basically don't have an order to anything. you just gotta keep people alive.
