I'm hijacking my own trainwreck of a thread. Pryzm is for nerds.
ZONES OF THE ENDERS
Zone of the Enders (ゾーン オブ エンダーズ ,Zōn obu Endāzu?), also known as Z.O.E., is a video game that was developed and published by Konami in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. It was produced by, and is closely associated with, Hideo Kojima. The game is based around mecha combat. The mechas were designed by Yoji Shinkawa, the character and mechanical designer for the Metal Gear Solid series. The game was originally sold packaged with a preview demo of the then-upcoming Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
This is a game about giant robots, an emo kid, et cetera. You know the drill. Some people in here said they wanted to see it, and it ended up being in my PS2 somehow.
Set01: Area of the Finishers
Set02: Four spaces for a name?
Set03: Most impressive.. for a building.
Set04: Metal Gear?!
Set05: WHERE IS SHE
Set06: At Long Last..
This is the old OP.
Samurai Western is DONE. Freakin' midgets. Anyway, that means it's time for a new LP to begin, however.. I'm not sure which I want to do. Here are the two main choices:
PRYZM
Set01: Shadow Horse with a Horn
1) PRYZM CHAPTER ONE THE DARK UNICORN
There isn't even a wikipedia article on this game, so I'll just type out the back of the box for you.

A CORRUPTING PLAGUE OF DARK MAGIC GRIPS THE WORLD...ONCE LUSH LANDS HAVE TURNED BARREN, AND THE INHABITANTS HAVE BECOME HOSTILE MUTANT CREATURES.
NOW, JOIN THE QUEST OF A UNIQUE YOUNG UNICORN AND A
TENACIOUS OLD TROLL IN A DESPERATE BID TO FIND AND DESTROY THE SOURCE OF THE CURSE.

This game is hella epic. Also,
it was made by DICE. That's right, the masterminds behind Battlefield and Mirror's Edge.
Here's the epic intro.

2) JAWS UNLEASHED
Jaws Unleashed is a 2006 video game licensed from the 1975 film Jaws. It was developed by Appaloosa Interactive, developer of the popular Ecco the Dolphin series, and released by Majesco. Like the Grand Theft Auto series, the game is open-ended; the player can roam free throughout the water, feeding on other animals and destroying everything in his path. Jaws Unleashed for Xbox is not currently compatible with the Xbox 360.
Amity Island is growing, making corporate connections with prestigious companies like Environplus to improve the Island’s economy. Unfortunately the increased population around the Island and recent industrial activity has also attracted YOU--one of Earth’s most fearsome creatures--a Great White Shark. When the Environplus CEO’s son falls prey to your deadly attacks, the CEO hires renowned shark hunter Cruz Ruddock to track and kill you. Meanwhile, Marine Biologist Michael Brody tries to capture you for research. Can Ruddock and Brody stop you from causing havoc and killing more people before the 4th of July celebration?
SilentPhil2 once again provides us with a great example of gameplay:

These are the two main choices, although I did get some other games recently: Silpheed, Gungriffon, Tokobot+, Rygar (this looks pretty awesome).. and something else, I forget.
Or, if you don't like these choices, suggest something else. I might have it.
I'd also like to take the bottom of this post to share with you: Bladestorm.
Bladestorm is a very unique game for the 360 and PS3. It's from the dudes who made Dynasty Warriors, so you know it's gonna involve killing hella mans in bases. But, it's not like DW where you play as one man. Hell no, this ain't no story about a reluctant hero (I'm looking at you, Red Faction Guerrilla), this is about a badass mercenary and his other mercenary bros kicking ass for the French or English.

The Unicorn game is my vote. A weird dwarf talking shit to a unicorn would never get old... or would it?
The Jaws game is mind boggling. Grand Theft Auto is one thing, but that just looks sadistic. Open-ended games can sometimes lead to unintended hilarity but this one looks like it would be boring to watch after a couple minutes.
Do Pryzm, that seems like it could be hilarious.
That, and no one else will.

I never asked for this!
I say go Pryzm then.

The part where the shark belly-flopped onto the sailboat. Twice.
Or when the shark threw the body onto the shore and it gibbed.
edit: or maybe Pryzm, I've not watched the videos yet.
I think he was just sharing his enjoyment of the game for the hell of it. While it might be a fun game to play, I didn't find it terribly interesting to watch. So I agree with you.
...Partial Nudity?
My vote is for Pryzm. I've seen quite a bit of Jaws Unleashed videos and it doesn't seem like it'd be that interesting to watch a full playthrough.

What do you mean, terrible? And besides, somebody has to play these games.
It's looking like Pryzm, oh maaaaaan
As for people asking about Jaws being open ended, you can just go around and be a huge dickshark if you want while slaughtering people, but there are actual levels with objectives.
I wouldn't do an LP of Bladestorm most likely because it seems very, very long and would probably tire most people to watch because it's just not a very watchable game.
I never asked for this!
Does it have Samuel L. Jackson in it? Because that might change my vote.
dream a little dream or you could live a little dream
sleep forever if you wish to be a dreamer
I never asked for this!

I think Rygar looks like it might be kind of fun, but it almost might be nice to take a break from action games (BWT, SW) for something else. I'll most likely start tomorrow since I have class tonight, so we've got a bit of time to pick. If the thread dies overnight, I'll just start up Pryzm.
It seemed alright but a bit dated; the combat was definitely an interesting setup with the different face buttons for different targets.
Seems like it would make a pretty boring LP, the only good thing would be Yakety Giants. Any reason why you think it would be good?
Although.. maybe something more popular might draw the attention of the youtube crowd and then I can sucker 'em in with niche games?! fmz, you sly dog
As I said in the last thread, I think this will be great. I don't know why, just call it instinct.
Killer 7 may be a good choice as well because the Let's Play on Youtube is ass quality.
Of course, the bestest one to play is Eternal Darkness.
Although I think the best effect of that is on the one actually playing it, not sure how well the spooks will translate to youtube. But it'd be good, regardless.
What's Geist like? That's the one where you possess things, right?
Yeah, it's the FPS where you possess things like.. dog food. It's pretty interesting.
I think you set a pretty high standard with Raw Danger.. we need a sequel.
Mark of Kri is awesome. More people should play it.
Er, I do love me some Silpheed...
Wow, you have Choro-Q? I thought I was the only one.
Failing another guess, my vote's for either Silpheed or maybe Devil May Cry 3.
Or Zone of the Enders, that's always good.
