I've been having an EVE craving for the past week. Except I don't like Merch much and I'm bad at making money alone so it's difficult.

Although I'd imagine that Dust will not have anything akin to Eve's "perma-death" if that's their plan for the game.

I don't think there's any ships in Eve that are capable of total annihilation of a planet. It would probably take tons of ships using mass drivers to do that.

Yeah, no perma-death, you're different than pod pilots. You're basically a clone trooper, so you get to respawn.

    Anyway, foooood.

Edit: EvE is terrible alone Sarks, I'm sure you can find some corp though.

Every ship in EVE using projectiles should be able to obliterate a planet. Of course, in EVE you struggle to make projectiles work over more then 200 km.

Are we talking "ruin every acre of habitable land" obliterate, or Death Star obliterate?

I meant it as "obliterate to a degree high enough to kill large numbers of Dust players on the target planet.

I love the guy playing him. He's the RSM in Zulu and a staple in British WWII movies and to see him here roaring away like Brian Blessed is an absolute treat.

I saw the film version in a theater at an anime convention...

Every time L or Kira came on screen the entire theater was drowned out by squealing girls.
