kime, you had some amazing luck on Day 3, by the way. You had six vulnerabilities by then and Delmain attacked you with two elemental attacks. They just so happened to be the only two you weren't vulnerable to.

Well, I'm off to bed. Good game, all... even if it did end in a manner that is less than satisfactory.

Heh, I had a lot of people target me tonight. Not sure that's the kind of attention I want.

Hahaha, wow. You call it luck, I call it skill 8-).
Oddly enough, naporeon, I went out of my way to initiate a bandwagon early because I figured I might be the number one suspect if the village stopped to think about it. Especially being the tie vote on the Kime/Fatal wagon.
Just went after you instead of warban/Darian because I figured it'd be harder to explain my hunches about those two. ('Kill warban because he's inactive, guys - but not that inactive! Look at him not missing votes!')
In related news, HEY GUMPY, be more careful about what people say about you. When Geebs told me he'd have more info in the morning when the seer logged on, I was like 'Hey, Gumpy's a Brit. Bet it's him.'

Hey, I felt that would of stuck better than you would of expected. I'm not sure if i even got attacked this game. Can't say I did anything great to help my side. But the village seemed to be very good at dying and just picking the annoying loud villagers anyway. (How I was playing 4 months Ago)
I really wish I knew why he decided to give what's his face a possible cover role while simultaneously failing to contact any network and preparing to lose his mind.
"looks like theres an awesome seer out there somewhere" made me kill you.
By that time I have become utterly annoyed at the village, so didn't really care for hiding no more
"Hey, macguffin! I'm the seer! I've got some guys to help! You say you have a network? Lets roll!"
"I ain't telling you nothing Gumpy"
"At all"

Also Macguffin and Geebs not getting any guards when they came out boo hiss
Don't be so mean, I was planning on confirming you. I couldn't just give you the identity of all the specials that did contact me right of the bat. After I was dead I totally knew that you where trustworthy.
by the by cheez, what happened to our team kill on arkas?
She was guarded by naporeon, who had gained a one-time guard from Rao.
Which reminds me, Rao's blessing:
50% chance of good, 50% chance of bad.
If good, votee gets a one-time-use guarding, vig attack, or seering.
I bad, votee gets 1-3 random new vulnerabilities.
So on paper, the benefits of the good outweighed the risks of the bad, but then Rao decided to be a raging bitch and hit bad 5 out of 7 nights. kime and naporeon were the only people to get awarded, and they both got guardings. kime never used his.
This game was pretty much a poster child for apathetic villages.
It doesn't help that I always get myself killed in the first four days! I have to start thinking of the village and see if I can sneak my way into an endgame.
Thought it was kind of funny while combing through post histories...
Most of the top posters died days ago. B:L had more posts than anyone remaining in the final days, and he died day 1.
That's terrible.
The problem with the vulnerabilities system is that the specials needed the village's help, so a win would be heavily depended on an active network organizing the kills and of course active guardians. One failure in the setup will result in DOOM AND GLOOM.
You guys did the best with what you could. Except for Orange Soda, what the hell was up with his terrible plan? It was the perfect idea for someone evil or not village aligned, lie about your vulnerabilities, convince the village to not vote you out and vig you instead, and soak up all their one-shot kills and make them waste a day. (Un)fortunately for us, he was actually village aligned and likely only ended up wasting a few one shot kills, I hope.

That's what he did on Day 1.
I was very pleased.
Prior to neville's Whedonverse number, all my previous phalla experience had been in SE++.
Point taken.

Yami got caught because he forgot to set up a seering redirect?
EDIT: D'aww, thanks for the guard naporeon.

By failing to name a seer redirect, Gumpy instead got a "no result" which was a hell of a lot more suspicious.

Good job, team, and good game, Cheez.

Also: Erich Zahn, what the fuck were you even doing
I had about seven people contact me, but I sent the list to someone that...died that night. So yeah. The good network never got going, really.

Thanks for running this Cheez.

I guarded them both. Seriously. It just didn't work for whatever reason.
not sure about macguffin.

yes, inactive guards totally don't help
Then I show up and am able and willing to be active, only to be killed after 4 posts.
I still want to know how that worked.

Still, terrible game theory right there.
