Man, when I was little we used to have a hedgehog next close to the house.

One day they're just gone, man, just gone :(

Possibly the saddest day of my life.

My friend owned a hedgehog. Samson was his name and he was awesome. I think he came down with wobbly hedgehog syndrome a couple months ago and died. Poor little guy.

    ...wobbly hedgehod syndrome?

It reminds me of a croc hunter episode when was dealing with these things called paddymelons. Apparently they suffered from a disease that caused lumps on the jaw. Disease name? Lumpy jaw.

I hadn't heard of paddymelons before! Apparently they're like wallabies.

    It's similar to multiple sclerosis.

Well I have 2123 pictures in my Imageshack, so at least half of that. But I'm usually searching for new stuff to post.

That's all? With all the cute threads and just random postings I would think you had far more than that. Not that I'm complaining mind you.

Found this on the Hedgehog site and found it worthy of sharing.
In their native environments, hedgehogs are noted snake killers and, once again, the quills come in quite handy for this as well. After having first grasped the snake with its teeth, they will drive their forehead quills into the snake, thereby killing it.
