Actually, I really agree with Chaos from what I've seen.
God in SMT1 is a complete and utter jerk.
Chaos is pretty consistent in all games with their whole survival of the fittest, kill or be killed approach. Sure they are usually slightly better people then those crazy Messians in the early SMT games...but not much! What they want is just as crazy.

Well, no one is going to want us to go Law, I'm sure, so I'm giving their faction the finger as we speak.
There's maybe an hour or two if you want me to swing towards Chaos.
Also, the Gaians in SMT1 were seriously persecuted by Yahweh, according to Echidna.

Part 14: The End of Balance
Another mansion. And along the way, more killing!
We're getting our money's worth.
Deities ask for him by name.
We are the guardians of the four borders of Tokyo, working
under the guidance and direction of our guardian deity.
Indeed, it elicits a feeling of excitement and anticipation within me!
For the first time in centuries, one with the strength to provide a good fight has arrived!
Come, show me what you are capable of!
Okay.
That's two down. Moving on!
We should look into this bridge business.
At least the beaches are still nice.
Thanks to the Golden Apple, we encounter an old friend, brought back to his senses.
You're Toaster! I'm glad to see you're still alive!
The last thing I remember is being teleported by some strange machine.
It garbled my senses and I lost my memory.
I wandered around for a while until I finally ended up here as a guard
dog for this place.
The more, the merrier.
Sadly, his stats are no longer as awesome by our new standards.
But we won't hold it against him.
And now, off to see the wonderful wizard of Gaia. Or something like that.
Interesting color scheme.
And a familiar face.
I've joined up with the forces of Chaos and am fighting with
them to crush the sinister plans of God!
Oh yeah! I got myself a partner, too. Her name's Rie.
Rie, this is my friend, Toaster.
Toaster... look at yourself. Look at what you're doing.
Do you really believe you're doing the right thing?
Can you answer me? As much as I'm sure you'd like to believe otherwise,
you're doing exactly the same as I am! Yes, my hands are bloody, but so are yours!
The only thing different is that I do what I do to survive,
and you say you do what you do for God!
No... I take that back. You're committing travesties, but excuse it by
slapping God's name on them on your actions as if that will justify them!
And you claim to be doing "justice"... It makes me sick! You hypocrite!
I thought you'd never try.
Emphasis on 'try'.
As I thought, you're pretty good...
But the next time we meet, I won't let you off so easily.
And off they go.
When I look at her, my skin crawls. I don't know, maybe it's just me...
Pretty sure it's not.
This is a place where you can test and find your destiny! How will you fare?
You're a lucky one! For those with good luck, life is paradise!
Sounds like a happy place. Basically, T.D.L. tests your luck at random intervals, and you can either get a health restore if you're lucky, or a curse/frog/HP loss if you're not. It's a total crap shoot.
Pick your path through the network of rooms we have here,
and be lead to your destiny!
What will it be? Well, now, that's up to you!
It will be interesting to see how things turn out!
This is the alignment adjusting mini game we've heard so much about.
Basically, each tunnel leads to either a Law or Chaos encounter, two of each, which can slightly shift your alignment in that direction.
It was enough to nudge us away from extreme Law, but not quite out of it.
Don't worry, we'll get the rest of the way soon.
Looks a lot different than the Legion palette swap he is in the later games.
This place is pitfall city. Some of them even go up.
You just leave that here with me, and maybe I won't kill you.
More competition.
Same result.
Okay, they were kind of tricky.
Ech, it's like Silent Hill 4 all over again. (Wall of text incoming. You should read it.)
In ages long by, I gave birth to many creatures to test the worthiness of heroes.
I stay here, guarding Destiny Land against those who would destroy us.
You may not be aware of it, but those that worship YHWH, the God of Law,
are scheming to impose their yoke on the entire world, conquering it totally.
While they spit out venomous lies about wanting to save all of humanity,
their true aim is to summon the God of Law to Earth so that he can conquer it.
The Cathedral they are building by Tokyo Bay is being constructed for this very reason-
it is there that they will summon YHWH. If YHWH gets his way, comes to Earth and
conquers it, humanity will suffer even more than it is now, oppressed under the tyranny
of his iron fist.
He is not satisfied with anything less than total submission- mind, soul, and body-
and will make everyone swear an oath to him in the name of "faith".
They will become nothing more than mindless drones, in psychological slavery to him.
The Thousand Year Kingdom is for those who submit themselves totally to the
God of Law in this fashion, and for nobody else...
Those who refuse will be killed or sent to Hell for all eternity.
That is the true nature of their plan.
The God of Law originally came to power in ages past by turning any gods
that opposed him, including myself, into demons... casting us into the abyss and
having our worshippers slaughtered by his.
Through his mad quest for power and total domination, the age where the ancient gods
and humans lived in peace side by side was brought to an end.
Is it right to allow such a tragedy to repeat itself?
The Gaia Church believes that this can not happen again.
They worship the ancient gods and goddesses oppressed by the God of Law,
and with our help, are trying to take over the Cathedral.
I came here to Destiny Land to provide aid to them.
In order to complete the Cathedral, the Messians are sending laborers from Shinagawa.
They make them work until they die, saying that those who do
will go straight to God upon their death.
The mastermind behind this plan is an Angel in Shinagawa.
The first step in stopping this madness is to kill that angel.
I would do the deed myself, but I am needed here at Destiny Land,
and cannot afford to abandon its defenses and go to Shinagawa.
Toaster, I believe that you would be best for this task.
I would like to request that you undertake it.
Please think it over...
So the Gaians aren't so all-powerful after all. At least not anymore.
Now that we've heard their side of the story, let's see what the Messians want to say.
Back to Shinagawa, and another familiar face.
In a sense.
Through the miracle of God's power, I was brought back to life.
And he granted me his wisdom, teaching me the ideal of the Thousand Year Kingdom!
If established, the Thousand Year Kingdom will bring eternal peace to the earth...
After learning of the plan, I became resolute in my decision.
I will fight for the establishment of the Thousand Year Kingdom, as God's chosen messiah!
...but even with the blessing of God himself, the demons are too numerous.
Even I lack the power to defeat them all by myself.
Therefore, I have a request of you, Toaster.
Sorry, she had nicer hair. (Besides, they didn't even try to justify themselves.)
Ah! That voice is...
I am Tenshi Haniel, servant and messenger to God himself!
For your unremorseful heresy, there can be only one punishment!
I shall throw you into the flames of hell myself!
Ooh, scary.
Not. He was pathetic.
You are abusing your power, using it to bring wicked ends!
Continue on this path, and you will only bring about your own destruction...
Another day, another broken friendship.
Back to T.D.L.!
You'll live.
Well, then, our next order of business is the Cathedral itself.
The Gaians are just about ready to undertake their plan to invade and conquer it.
This is it.
This is the final decision.
Neutrality, or Chaos? From here on, it's straight to endgame, and unchanging destiny.
OK, so... I already read an LP of this game once someplace else and they went with the Neutral ending.
As a result (and since I'm slightly more on the side of Chaos than Law), I'd really, really like to see the Chaos ending.
As for a reason... well, we won't go with Law because God's a genocidal silly goose and if we go Neutral we'll end up murdering the majority of... erm... personkind as well, committing just as huge an atrocity in the name of Balance. Therefore, the only ethical conclusion is to side with Chaos.
As I said before, it would be a shame to deprive the PA forums from Arioch, so neutral it is.
Or, you could just keep a save and do both, but this will mean a couple of extra hours of work.
No, you really only have to deal with the entire cathedral if you go neutral. Chaos will be shorter. Also, it wouldn't take that long if you already know where to go (from the neutral playthrough), and use estoma.

Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Besides, we like our demonic patriarchs to have bodies.
Then in punishment, I shall tear you limb from limb right where you stand!
She hit hard, but that was about it.
So with that taken care of, supposedly there's this business with the Four Heavenly Guardians to go take care of.
Since we're halfway there, might as well finish the job.
The third one is close to Shibuya, so to there we go.
Real short dungeon.
Try asking your friends how that went.
Right then.
Last but not least...
The final guardian, still nothing special.
An honorable few seconds of auto, and down he goes.
The establishment of God's kingdom is close at hand!
Unfortunately for everyone else.
After a short trip back to Ginza, we talk to our friendly neighborhood Neutral rep.
(They don't get a nifty hideout, regrettably.)
...is quite a point of contention between the forces of
Law and Chaos. But whether Law wins and Michael completes
the Cathedral, or Chaos wins and Asura takes it over,
it matters little.
Ultimately, neither result will bring you humans happiness.
No matter which side you choose to cast your lot in,
either way humanity would eventually end up a mere pawn,
an object to be used and dominated.
The only one who can prevent such a tragedy from happening is you.
The path behind me leads to the Cathedral.
You can go there from here.
So we're on our way to the holy land, finally.
Care of a real long, boring tunnel through Ginza.
(Modern interpretation: )
Yes, that is the same Cathedral, after the events of this game(as seen in the MMO anyway).
They certainly have a good architect. A place with color is always a nice touch.
I think their identities are obvious enough.
Toaster! Are you still lost? Rethink what you're doing!
You need someone to give you direction in what to do!
Don't listen to that hypocrite!! You've seen for yourself
that nothing can be accomplished without power!
KANEDAAA freaks me out. He just swallows whatever stories
God and the angels feed him, without stopping to question
them for so much as an instant.
It's almost as if he stopped thinking for himself altogether.
No matter how much I try to call to him, Bruno won't listen to me.
He rejects my arguments totally. Can't he see that I'm trying to do what is right?
Has he sold his soul to the demons?
We made it just in the nick of time! If we had waited any longer,
the Messians would have completed the Cathedral!
But we won't let that happen, no matter what!
We've managed to get legions of demons inside here to fight
the forces of Law. With our constant raids and sabotage,
they're in no position to be summoning God.
Once we finish killing off those mischievous little mindless
minions of God, we can turn the Cathedral into a castle of Chaos!
It is only a matter of time before God's Thousand Year Kingdom
becomes reality.
However, the Cathedral has been invaded by hordes of demons.
At this rate, we can't wait for God to arrive. we'll have to take
matters into our own hands.
(And then, suddenly, earthquake.)
It sounds like something big just went down outside.
I need to stay here, could you go outside and
check to see what happened?
The Tokyo that had been enshrouded in evil power is now no more,
the heathens that dwelt within wiped from the face of the earth!
Finally, the purification of the Earth is at hand!
I'll let you see for yourself what has become of Tokyo.
Witness it with your own eyes!
That doesn't sound good.
So along the way, we take in the sights.
And meet some nasty beasties.
After trying to go back through Ginza...
Also a bad sign.
Let's check outside.
Toaster's out of practice on his backstroke, so... yeah, let's not.
I'm still surprised how unprepared the Messians were for our attack!
We took over the bottom half of the Cathedral so quickly it was hard to believe!
Instead you're sleeping with the devils.
Turtle soup?
Not very radical, dude.
We're obligated as members of the SMTASPCA.
Just browsing the merchandise.
He's mine now.
Want a closer look?
That's what I thought.
Sweet.
(Any Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vets out there surely appreciate this.)
It's defenses are tight enough to keep anyone from attacking
it in the near future, but it's still not a place you can let your guard down.
That explains the rampant battles.
So we'll be needing stronger friends.
Sorry guys.
Here's the new models.
Stat buffs in SMT1 are broken, by the way. No limit!
That twisted god that the Messians worship just tried to kill
everything on the planet!
He'll even stoop to genocide if it helps attain his ends!
More than ever, we need to take over this Cathedral if we want to survive!
We can not let that morally bankrupt god have his way!
Not seeing much difference here.
That massive flood was no doubt their work! Only they could kill
that many innocent people and not think twice about it!
Some really powerful, legendary demons joined the forces of Chaos
and helped us invade. Rumor has it that Lucifer himself is coming to help us!
This info comes straight from the Founder! I heard him talking to someone about it!
Goody.
Let's take a closer look at the new world. Again.
Righto.
Maybe we'll come back later.
Creepy. We must have it!
Sayonara.
The more things change...
I guess the Four Guardians' protection was doing something
after all - without it, there was nothing stopping him!
If we hadn't invaded the Cathedral, we would have been sleeping with
the fishes, along with the rest of Tokyo...
If that wasn't bad enough, I've received yet another troubling report.
One of our generals, Tenma Ravana, is stationed at the government office
in Shinjuku. There, he's working to prevent God from coming to Tokyo.
However, the forces of Law got wind of his presence, and sent his old
arch-nemesis, Majin Vishnu, there to kill him. The fight has been going
on for a long time, and has reached a statemate.
Even if Vishnu doesn't kill him, if Ravana's strength drains enough, he
won't be able to keep up his defenses for long. Help him! Kill Vishnu!
And in this corner...
Why decide? Let's kill them both.
Right about here.
The flood makes ascension easier.
More uber demons. Couldn't recruit this one though.
And here we are: first stop.
However, at the moment, the only thing I care about is
defeating my arch-rival, Ravana. I defeated him once as Rama,
but it would seem the time for me to fight him has come once more.
Ravana is preventing God from descending to the Cathedral.
Therefore, I must eliminate him, no matter the cost.
And I must stop the impudent humans that stand in my way as well!
He was almost difficult.
Almost.
Next.
One tower later...
Now the Gaian side.
Cakewalk.
Bye now.
Wait what?
Two easy bosses as opposed to one kind of difficult one.
It's endgame time. That means we need to prepare accordingly.
Aw yeah.
Much better.
Let's see how the bickering twins feel.
I like you, and was helping you out as a friend until now, but that ends here!
The next time we meet, it'll be as enemies. You better prepare yourself,
because I won't hold back!
There is nothing more I can say to you. The next time we meet, it shall be
as enemies. I shall slay you as an individual who opposes the divine will
of God. Truly, this is a shame...

I'm not sure who's worse: them or their god.
Also, put this on repeat for that update and the final one. It might even be tomorrow!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2LuQ27Itk8
Yes, I am going to suffer lots through the most evil dungeon ever made.
Fortunately, you'll just see it in the form of a few dozen pictures.
God, obviously. The Mesians are only following orders. Only following orders is kind of their thing. The decision to be monumental douchebags was kind of made for them by God.
Mind you, that doesn't absolve them of all blame, but it does make them less worse than God.

Due to the nature of The Cathedral's maps, which I'm fairly certain were designed by Lucifer himself, the finale will likely be divided up into segments.

Well, it is the final dungeon, in a game full of terrible maps. It is ridiculously hard though, if only you went for one of the alignment paths...

Doing the right thing isn't supposed to be easy, now, is it?
And neither side can gain the upper hand
enough to turn the tide of battle.
Both the forces of Law and the forces of Chaos
are mixed up within the halls of the Cathedral,
with small skirmishes breaking out constantly.
The Seraph Michael leads the forces of Law,
who currently control most of the upper floors of
the Cathedral. He issues his orders from the 8th floor.
The Tenma Asura Lord leads the forces of Chaos,
and they currently control most of the lower floors
of the Cathedral. Asura himself residing in the 8th basement.
As long as one of them live, the battle will never end.
And should both of them conquer, the delicate balance
of Law and Chaos will be destroyed utterly...
They must both be stopped!
Sounds good to me.
Unfortunately, we have to pass through the Messian camp to hear their point of view.
If you can call it that.
Here we are protected from the attacks of
the demons. Surely we are safe thanks to
God's blessing!
Surely.
Aren't they just so compassionate?
At least this guy has some sense:
I fake belief in their God, they let me into this
town without question - not a bad tradeoff for
some safety! And I'm not the only one, either.
There are a lot of other people here faking their
belief too.
Or what passes for it here.
That's enough of that.
Back to the hell that is The Cathedral.
As said, you're spared most of the pain I had to endure.
Here's a taste.
It gets worse.
MUCH WORSE.
But that's enough of that.
First destination, and a familiar face to any biblical scholars out there.
Begone! I shall purge you from the earth mjyself,
along with the rest of the darkness!
Yeah, about that...
So long, birdie. (He did some physical repel magic, that's about it.)
Many tiles of pain later...
There can be but one penance for your sins -
the sting of death! And I shall be the one to deal it!
Riight.
Okay, seriously, Gabriel was a real pain. (s)He was immune to physicals. Not fun with my strategy.
Ah well.
Made no difference.
See you there.
Next!
You, foolish one! Do you insist on continuing your
wicked, murderous crusade!?
Accursed child of man, covered in the blood of the righteous!
Toaster!! I shall put an end to your crimes myself!
Another pushover.
There is nothing you can do to stop it! You will fail!
It is only a matter of time before you and your
heathen allies are destroyed...
Three down. Time to get some fresh air.
Sort of. The pain continues before long.
Some nasty beasties here.
That's imposing.
KILL IT WITH FIRE
That's a little less terrifying.
Oh, hi.
Are you still allowing yourself to be deceived
by demons? Humans are weak. They wander lots,
injure themselves, then die... You are no different.
Just like everyone else, you are lost.
You delude yourself- to search for a nonexistent
path of "balance," a path that follows neither Law
nor Chaos, is foolishness.
Can you not see that you are merely chasing an
illusion? If you had only opened your heart and
faith, you would have awoken to the righteous path...
However, I can no longer wait for that to happen.
Humanity is worthless without God. Power without
God is evil. Those who wield such pwoer become demons.
Just like you are becoming, Toaster...
Those that do not submit themselves to God must die,
especially those with power. Unfortunately, that includes you.
Therefore, in the name of God, I must slay you!
Sorry it has to end like this.
But to be fair, he was being kind of a moron.
Wasn't I... wasn't I to be God's chosen one...
One who offered his everyth...!!
So that's it... Now I see. I was nothing but a sacrifice.
Nothing but a mere pawn to accomplish God's ends...
To be discarded at any time..
You realized it too late. Maybe in the third life, you'll get some sense.
All the time I spent watching over you has paid off...
Uh, okay, mysterious figure.
Tai Shang Lao Jun is one of several ways of referring to the deity that the philosopher Laozi (also widely known as Lao Tzu) was supposedly the incarnation of in Taoist belief.
Time to end it.
This place won't be missed. At least not this half.
Here comes the highest of the high.
What kind of pathetic excuse for a savior are you!?
In his compassion, God has extended his hand to humankind
to bring them peace in the form of the Thousand Year Kingdom...
And yet you stand in his way, selling your soul to demons
and dedicating your life to opposing his divine will...
even going so far as to slay your friend, KANEDAAA!!
Are you perhaps trying to claim that you are better than God!?
You are but a mere human! Who are you to challenge his will!?
It is he that decides what is right and what is wrong, not you!!
It is not possible to be more arrogant!!
Or perhaps... I am mistaken. Perhaps you do not consciously
intend to claim superiority to God. Perhaps you have merely
capitulated to your cowardly, opportunistic nature after having
been lost for so long.
Is this the case, little human? No matter. Either way,
I cannot let you live!
I will cast you into the flames of Hell myself, where you will
burn and suffer for all eternity!
Oh God... please forgive your pathetic servant, Michael...
Forgive me for being so weak...
Forgive me for failing to fulfill your will...
For failing to summon you here to Earth...
For failing to bring your divine compassion to all those who seek it...
And so on.
And the Messians are finished. At least, their current host is.
The second half is coming, one step closer to purification.
May as well prepare accordingly.
To be continued...

Finale Part 2: Restarting The Cycle
We've been up.
Now we go down.
No matter. You humans are destined
to die, anyhow. I shall merely bring about
that destiny slightly faster, as I sound your
death knells right now!
You'd think the battle-hardened demons of Chaos would be more fear-inspiring.
Nah.
Running out of places to put all these points.
That's one down.
My favorite!
This hasn't been as bad as the Law half. But pretty rough, still.
Much easier demons overall.
Next!
Is there nothing more pitiful than the
man who discards his individuality to
willingly become a slave?
No matter! Prepare yourselves, little ones-
your lives end now!
Another pushover.
Maybe in the next life.
This floor was a pain. But that's the last time I'll be going through shadow floors.
Gaian #3 is waiting, and he's... something else.
Taste the pain of my fangs that thirst
for vengeance against the God who did
this to me, and to all that would
bind themselves to his will!
Another physical immune demon.
Good thing we're packing heat.
It's unthinkable... and yet it is...
Moving on, we see another familiar face...
Oh, so you wish to defeat the Asura Lord,
do you? Well then, I should probably tell you
about the island to the west of here - there is
something there that could possibly help you.
At the very least, it would be difficult if not
impossible to defeat the Asura Lord without it.
Our good friend Louis refers to an optional uber boss.
Screw that, and screw him.
We have other fish to fry.
Why can't you get it? You waste so much
time pursuing this ideal of "balance", but don't
you see? The sole reason that balance exists
is so that it can eventually be tipped!
And it seems that you don't get it either!
Now it's your turn! Let's rumble, Toaster!
I wish I could say that this battle of friends was a truly epic war, rending heaven and earth and all that.
Uh, not so much.
So my end comes as well... in the end,
I couldn't beat you, Toaster. You always were
a step ahead of me. And I thought that I had
finally gotten power that surpassed God's, too.
Power came at a cost he couldn't afford.
The mysterious girlfriend finally speaks.
And shows her true colors.
She wasn't much stronger than her supposed boyfriend.
You and I were supposed to be the new
Adam and Eve, and start a new age together.
But... I was kept away from you.
That's why I...
Why I tried to take...
the one you had chosen instead of me.
I wanted to be your partner so much...
but it just didn't work out that way.
So long, Lili.
This can be used for a nifty weapon fusion. Maybe some other time.
The final path is open.
Let's not be rude.
The last of Lucifer's generals.
How noble you are, trampling over the
broken corpse of your old friend, Bruno,
in order to get here!
To have betrayed one who cared about you
in favor of following the orders of one who has
done nothing for you... Truly, you are a shining
example of a servant of God!
But I think your friend needs some company.
I'll send you to him now!
I could have recorded this, but it would have been pretty dull.
He had a LOT of HP(10,000!). Besides that? A joke.
And we were so close...
We were just on the brink of stopping God's
Thousand Year Kingdom from brutalizing
demonkind and humanity...
You have fought and won against incredible odds.
There are some good things to be said about God's
Thousand Year Kingdom...
One cannot deny that laws and regulations are
necessary to preserve peace.
But as a bird whose wings are clipped cannot fly,
those living in a world under God's iron fist would
never enjoy the freedom of mind and action that
they would need to truly be happy.
The world of Chaos envisioned by Lucifer also has
its strong points. Such a world would be quite
alluring, overflowing with the excitement and
exhilaration that naturally comes from such
unfettered freedom.
However, such freedom would also give birth to
neverending conflicts and competition, and people
would never be able to truly live at peace.
One must not try to pursue either extreme, as in the
end it will only produce sorrow...
It is only through balance that happiness can be obtained!
While difficult to do, it is important to strive to achieve it!
Your fight against the forces of Law and Chaos may be over,
but your true struggle is just beginning.
A great many people have lost their direction, wandering
aimlessly amongst the rubble produced by this conflict.
Please, use your wisdom to guide them to a new future.
It won't be easy, and will require the blood, sweat, and
tears of many to rebuild. But it is in this that the true glory
of the future lies!
The future of humanity shall be built by neither reliance
on God nor demons...
but by the hands of the people themselves!
Can you sense it? The world... the galaxy... the universe...
The common thread that connects all existence...
You too are a part of it...
Without whom this deranged trip into the realms of
the demonic and otherworldly wouldn't exist like it does.
And now, some reminiscence...

A countless number of individual sorrows, joys, hatreds,
and loves snuffed out...
But you know, Toaster...
They will all come back and be reborn, just the way I was..
The destruction is finally over...
and the time for creation and rebuilding has begun!!
But... correct me if I'm wrong, but after this whole flooding-of-Tokyo thing, aren't the only people left a handful of Gaians and Mesians (along, I admit, with a couple of fakers)?
I wonder how long this 'balance' is going to last.
If people can't handle the Persona remake, this would drive them nuts. :P
I think the official word was that it was too difficult to recode.
(And probably way too much work for too little profit.)
Strange Journey is a huge throwback to the old SMTs, so there's that.
Well, that's exactly is my point. They already have the engine and everything with Strange Journey. They just need a texture swap, and implement an overworld map somehow. Surely, that can't be too hard.
Well that was neat. Are you going to jump straight into SMT2, or will you give us a full playthough of Imagine so we can see what happened in between?
And while it would be cool to see the older games remade here, I can see why it would be too much work for not enough gain. The series has advanced quite a bit since the SNES, so while it would be great to eventually get the entire series here, the better option probably is to just continue with the new stuff like Strange Journey that has throwbacks to the older games.

Chaos is pretty consistent in all games with their whole survival of the fittest, kill or be killed approach. Sure they are usually slightly better people then those crazy Messians in the early SMT games...but not much! What they want is just as crazy.
There's maybe an hour or two if you want me to swing towards Chaos.
Also, the Gaians in SMT1 were seriously persecuted by Yahweh, according to Echidna.
I'm just wondering what they have to say when they're not out for your blood.
She's not the boss of you! Neutral fo' life.
Or, you could just keep a save and do both, but this will mean a couple of extra hours of work.
I've never seen the LAW end game ever in any SMT game. Granted I've only beaten about half of them.
Err.... Yeah, Neutral. They all suck.
At a glance, he definitely knows his demonic lore.
But our cast is more colorful, so there's that.
Also, SMT1 can be done many different ways, so it's not like it gets old.
(And I'm using better image resolution! :P)
I might do both Neutral and Chaos, but for now, definitely just one. I will keep an extra save just in case.
But if that means I have to do the infamous Cathedral twice? Screw that.
(And yes, I'm doing it blind. Maps are for the weak.)
Not sure, though.
Put this on repeat. Epicness:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2LuQ27Itk8
More than you know.
Next time: Finale - Clash of Titans
Also, put this on repeat for that update and the final one. It might even be tomorrow!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2LuQ27Itk8
Yes, I am going to suffer lots through the most evil dungeon ever made.
Fortunately, you'll just see it in the form of a few dozen pictures.
Mind you, that doesn't absolve them of all blame, but it does make them less worse than God.
Well, it is the final dungeon, in a game full of terrible maps. It is ridiculously hard though, if only you went for one of the alignment paths...
(I'm already halfway done with the Law portion.)
(I will most likely do Chaos' ending afterward, so don't feel too let down.)
Well, we've trusted disembodied voices thus far...
Why not?
I recorded this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lUXhFYTLjg
Oh God... please forgive your pathetic servant, Michael...
Already took care of that, too.
Now... come to me...
The road comes to its end.

The End.
Or..
Is it?
But... correct me if I'm wrong, but after this whole flooding-of-Tokyo thing, aren't the only people left a handful of Gaians and Mesians (along, I admit, with a couple of fakers)?
I wonder how long this 'balance' is going to last.
Hard to tip the balance when all the big chaos and law demons are currently out of commission.
They should give the SMT main series some love and remake it or something. I mean fuck, how many times they gonna remake P3?
Also, by 'God' do they mean 'God' as in 'part of the holy trinity'?
or
Do they mean 'God' as in 'some generic tyranny godlike being up there'?
Which... kind of indicates the Old Testament God, who is technically the same guy as New Testament God, but with more genocide and less Hell, so...
Fuck it. Yeah. It's the Holy Trinity God. In an OT mood.
Sega CD :
PS1:
GBA:
I like the original more in every respect, especially the music.
Though the Sega CD version has an interesting take on the intro.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P092sp8KwJY
God in this case being 'generic tyrannical deity', so it's their version.
Or it's open to interpretation.
Just found a clip of the PS1's gameplay:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmC7KCKKoIE
A lot smoother and more detailed, but it seems off somehow.
Fuck it, I want the cake and eat it to.
Why can't they remake it for the DS or something, and release it to the US? Atlus! I THOUGHT YOU WERE OUR SIDE MAN?!
