wanna know what confused me?
in the first episode with the angels, they were stopped by looking at each other, but in the new one, all the angels were like SUP BRO, HOW YOU DOIN and LOL NOT MUCH BRO JUST BEING THE DEADLIEST THING EVER WANNA LOOK AT EACH OTHER?

Well, there were a lot of angels. Perhaps when they got caught looking at each other, another angel moved them slightly or got in the way to stop it.

but they'd still be looking at each other! even when you see an angel from the rear they turn to stone.
well they were draining ships power. so pretty soon all the lights would turn off. so it wouldnt matter if they happened to be looking at each other for a while.
Doctor: "Restricted access. No unauthorised personnel." *uses sonic screwdriver*
Amy: "That's breaking and entering!"
Doctor: "What did I break? I'm sonicing and entering. It's totally different."
It was alright, could have been better, I can't help feel the "ooh somethings under the earth!" theme has been done before. But a few funny lines here and there.
What was with the Amy and Rory 10 years in the future thing? Seemed like there's more to that then just a passing mention. All that really caught my eye.
worst episode of the new series. I gave out a groan when I realised it's a two parter.
Seriously, worse than the fish people? Don't you think you're going a bit far?
Mhm, I think that was worse too.
Oh, yeah. I don't see why they need it to be a two-parter, it's not a particularly complex or gripping story. Feels like a filler episode to me, but the next episode might be more monumental.
I liked it. Some cringey dialogue, but more funny stuff.
I kinda like that Amy was out of the picture quite early on, so we got some focus on Rory. I'm guessing he'll be trying to hold the others together most of next week. And Amy about to be dissected while the Doctor discovers the scale of the invasion is a pretty good cliffhanger
Then again, I only really know the new series, so maybe that's why it didn't feel like something done loads of times before.
Woah, did not expect the hate on this latest episode. It's not the best we've seen so far, but it's far from the worst, and I'm looking forward to the second part next week.
That said, the BBC managed to fuck the whole thing up slightly by having -
The announcer over the credits of the previous programme stating flat out that the Doctor was facing Silurians. It would have been nice if I'd been left to work that one out on my own.

"Can't you sonic it?"
"It doesn't work on wood."
"That's rubbish."
"DON'T DISS THE SONIC!!!!"
Made me cringe.
It seemed to me very much like Smith's part was written for Tennant, I wonder if it was a holdover from a previous season.
Mhm, I think that was worse too.

not what i wanted to read this morning
For me, it's this one. What makes it worse however, like I've already mentioned, is that it's a two-parter.

Not every episode ever.
Christ, that was awful.
Beast Below and Victory were great
poor thing was like a space filler, the doctor spent the whole time mooning over rose and they had to go and make martha fall for him
i understand it sort of had to be that way but lord it was tedious
Donna is not the best at anything, except maybe being supremely annoying
What is wrong with you people
i guess she was okay

It just remains half-open in that horrific smile of hers.
Billie Piper's smile is normal
