They're not off peoples radar. They're on everyone's radar as "That team that looks good but always does crap."

Last Euros? They were on FIRE. But got knocked out in first knock out round.

My Gut is saying, firstly, that I ate too much mexican last night, but that Spain will do something, Brazil will always be there, Germany will always be there and that watch Argentina for a spectacular crash or win.

Also, considering how attacking the last Euro was lets hope that this World Cup is as run an gun as the Euro was.

The dutch team are fun to watch and the orange kits are gorgeous, but most of the guys on that team are insufferable pricks.

I don't think Germany is really in it this year. I could be wrong, but they don't appear as solid as they normally are, especially the front line. I mean, I like Gomez and Podolski, but they are coming off ridiculously bad seasons, and Gomez in particular has never been impressive for the national team.

Uruguay beating France isn't an upset. Anybody who is keeping track, especially with that frontline (Suarez and Forlan) and the turmoil in the French camp, can't realistically expect the French to get anything more than a draw.

I fully expect them to get trounced, to be honest.

Germany looks like crap (by German standards)

but the 2002 German side was crap as well and they made the final, I'm afraid it might happen again.

Bookies disagree. Odds are something like
    France +105 (21/20)
    Draw +225 (11/5)
    Uruguay +260 (51/20)

I've put a few bucks on it because it seems so wrong

Ahh yes, but who will commit the foul? Terry or Upson?

And the Bookies are thinking that because they work upon tangible evidence like, "How good are the French players?" and "How good are the opposition." Not "Is the French coach a retard, without the ability to motivate the hacks that are the French team to play at a standard to beat the opposition."

The French should win, if they win it will be expected. But considering how bad Domench is, it won't be a surprise if they loose. Win Win for Uruguay.

Ok is there some iphone app or free service that lets me know when a match is coming up? I have Univision but so far its bit confusing to use. Please suggest good iphone apps?

I guess it just depends on which France shows up.

And if the refs let Henry play handball.
