The most important thing for those who were wondering:
The guitar is dissassemblable, and the nylon strings can be replaced without replacing the entire guitar, if you somehow rock too hard and break one. Try not to rock too hard.
Predicting a massive market of small-sized nylon strings (I'm assuming the guitar wouldn't fit much more than 15" of a string in there) popping up after the game releases.
Aww, no way to make wild extrapolations about the RB2 export list from that picture.
They probably just hardcoded in a database of which songs came from which export, then just label each song accordingly when it gets to the music library... I doubt they did things the other obvious way (that is, changing the metadata stored within the exported songs).

Well, for some reason it says Rock Band 1 has 57 songs, when it only exports 55 :?:
With Pro Drums, that mysterious port in the back of the drums has to be high hat pedal support right? I would think the best way to represent open hi-hat would be a blue cymbal dot in the yellow lane, as blue's have been open hi-hats in the hat. Wow do I need to find an electronic drum kit.
So I'm enjoying Green Day, but the fact all the rudey words have been editted out is annoying. I would have thought they would have secured an age rating for the game that would have allowed for them, given the number of songs that have them in. Still it just makes me shout FUCK loudly in right places when I'm doing vocals.

It actually took a recent edition of Giant Bomb's podcast to remind me that, oh yeah - this is the same band that made such a huge fuss about not releasing an edited version of 21st Century Breakdown. Guess the thought of not netting that T-Rated money was enough to change their minds, or they just don't have such strong feelings about their artistic vision of the album now.
Either way, I've been playing it some recently thanks to a friend who purchased it. Vocals are my go-to thing, and I've played a little guitar, and watched plenty of the guitar charts thanks to having most of the pre-21st songs memorized. Definitely glad I didn't buy this game full-price if only because guitar is my usual instrument, and holy hell the charts annoy me. My pre-release crowing about how charts seemed too specific for the loose and fast rock of Green Day was incredibly spot-on. I find myself cringing at some of the charts as they're going by. Might still be a bargain bin purchase simply for vocals or bass later, but damn those charts straight up annoy me.
Also kind of enjoy how Song of the Century is totally a back-of-the-box noteworthy song when it's like a minute of just one vocalist and that's it.

For RB3?
I don't know much Yes
But I do like "I've Seen All Good People"
Then again, I haven't really been following the news much so I might be making a lot of shit up. Carry on.
No...but there's no Who song either, right?
Yet. Just give it time UV. You know HMX has a huge hard on for The Who. They only have a bigger hard on for Dave Grohl.
EDIT:
We could get the correct version of Pinball Wizard:
Elton John!
"A Quick One While He's Away", please
 Cello cello cello cello cello cello cello cello
Once RB3 comes out, we'll need to choreograph this amongst ourselves:

Wow, I havn't really picked up a guitar in about 5 years..... I may be buying this squire to get back into it.
That ignores the millions of tween girls that have the same taste in music
I'm sure UV isn't the only male with such tastes.
HOLY FUCK
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR YEARS
fuck yesss
The drum in that piece has two pedals, nice.
They're way too close together, but I'm assuming you can move them around.

Yesssssss
AND MY DAY KEEPS GETTING BETTER
Did they announce more tracks? Just the one?
No tracks from it yet, but some Cash would seal the deal for sure
Also, we still have a serious lack of Avril Lavigne.
The most important thing for those who were wondering:
it seems RB3 actually knows where certain DLC comes from.
I'm definitely feeling a lot more comfortable now getting that one.

Someone at E3 needs to see if one of their demo units has 57 RB1 songs on and then see what extra songs are under it.
