And it was made by Gust, so it's bound to be pretty if nothing else.
Oh, and item mixing. Lots of item mixing.
It's a damn fun game but you have to REALLY get into the whole Alchemy thing that was in Aterlier Iris or Mana Khemia. Basically, cooking and cooking and cooking while grinding for ingrediants.

Well, maybe after I play it I'll go back and pull Mana-Khemia 1 and 2 and Atelier Iris out of my backlog...yeah, cj was right. ><

That looks alot better, thanks for the tip Maximumzero.
Man, that Wii really is freakin' sexy. If I had a way to move over my VC/Wiiware purchases I'd get both the Red DSiXL & the Red Wii.
When you showed me the pics online, I had to get it. Very clean and sleek, stands out next to the white Xbox and Black PS3. Comes with the original Mario and New Mario Wii, though I have not had as much fun with New Mario Wii as I'd liked to have, then again I might not have a soul. Galaxy, Goldeneye and Monster Hunter 3 is next on the list.
Edit -> Jesus jumping christcakes, Mario Galaxy is the same price first and second hand at EB, fuck em.
Vanquish is so good. And if you love Venture Bros, you may want to check out the PSN/XBLA title Shank. It's basically a 2D Brock Sampson simulator.
Ah yeah, I got Shank. It did remind me of Brock a lot too. By the third level I was going "Dayuum this guy sure loves stabbing dudes and making sure they don't get back up"
Been wanting to play Bayonetta for awhile. I owned RDR before but sold it because I was strapped for cash. Never finished so I guess I will now. And Half-Life PS2. I already own both versions of HL1 on PC, but it's probably one of my favorite series ever, so whats one more copy? And this is the best looking version of the game until Black Mesa: Source comes out.

I should finish it myself. Already half way through Hard mode. I just really don't want to have to do that stage...you know the one I'm talking about, the one that goes on 3x longer than it should have.
If it makes you feel any better that stage isn't all that hard on infinite climax, but yeah that stage (and the other on rails one imo) need to be at least half the distance, 1/3rd maybe, but that'd feel a bit too short.

If you can't read that, I got all three games for ~$61 + tax. Actually, I originally picked up Red Dead, Heavy Rain, and Enslaved for about the same price, but when I found NFS at the GS down the road, I swapped Enslaved for NFS. I'm guessing Enslaved will continue to get cheaper, and I'd get to NFS sooner (my single player adventure game backlog is looooooong).
The only issue is that NFS is an EA game, so they have that online pass code thing for used games. The code was still in the box, so there's (very slim) chance it hasn't been used yet. I rarely play games online, so if I actually want to play it online, I'll do the one week trial thing, and if I still want to play it online, I'll fork over the extra $10. But since NFS rang up $10 less than the price tag showed, I won't worry about it.
This month, I picked up Red Dead Redemption and its undead sequel when they had a deal going where you saved $20 on the original when you bought the expansion, COD : BLOPS, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Long, Starry Title and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
Tune in next month for more colons!
Oh, and I got a 250GB Slim Xbox. I get way more satisfaction from the little 'ding!' when you press a button than I should. This is in addition to the old refurbished original I got from my father-in-law, which is now a dedicated Netflix machine for my wife. She has her own gold account and everything.
All of this purchasing is unusual for me, as an E5 only makes so much, but I re-enlisted recently and got a bonus I wasn't expecting, so I get to pretend like I have disposable income for a little bit! Great fun.
Chance, why buy Bayonetta on 360 when you don't own one? And you write a PS3 centric blog? Also, Bayonetta on PS3 was pretty alright.
It is pretty alright, and Sony's patch helps a great deal with the load times, but there's a Game Collector part of me that's always been bothered that I have the B version of an incredible game. And yeah, the blog is PS3-centric, but that doesn't mean I'm a thoughtless Sony booster, blind to all else.
Besides, I bought Muramasa on the Wii long before I owned that console - this is the same concept : it's not like I really want a 360 - but if I ever have one I will be pissed off if I don't own/can't find a copy of Bayonetta to play on it.

Camera is not charged, but I got MadWorld Wii for like 8 bucks US. Red Steel 2 was sitting next to it for the same price, I know I'll be forced to get it next.
I think pretty alright is being over-generous: I grew up seeing wildly different versions of games on C64, Spectrum, Atari and Amiga so to me the differences this gen are so ridiculously minor but Bayonetta PS3 is the exception. The screen tearing is almost comical (especially during the clock tower sequence, that part is nauseating) and the frame rate is less than half what it should be at times. It deserves all the negative press it got. Yes I know this is rich coming from a Heavenly Sword fan!
I picked up God of War 3 and Heavy Rain brand new and sealed for £15 each recently. I've only played a bit of GOW3 but wow, I haven't been this amazed since Uncharted 2's train. Photos when I find my camera (sorry).
PS3 Bayonetta is good enough that it's still definitely worth experiencing, if you lack a 360 - the technical flaws didn't stop me from loving it and beating it on hard mode - but the difference between the versions is, yes, staggering.

PSP Go is super sexy, but I'm sticking with my PSP slim mainly because it's hard to do "The Claw" technique in games like Monster Hunter and Peace Walker.
I'm also baffled at the lack of Disney games on PSN, there were some ace ones on PSone and PS2 I'd love to have.
New portable setup. Sansa clip+ and ATH ES7. Sounds fucking amazing so far.
Got game! Devil summoner. Still need to replace the cover.
Also some cheap headphones as presents. For $5 headphones they sound pretty good and look stylish to boot. Pretty sure that they're fake and not factory original but eh.
So I dropped by Best Buy last night, fully intending to walk out with Kirby's Epic Yarn, Sonic Colors, and the free $30 gift card that it would have come with, per the sale.
But when I was there I couldn't find any copies of Sonic Colors...but wait, what's that over there in the DS section? The last DSi? The last WHITE DSi? I'll take this as a sign.
So after about a half-hour of carrying the thing around the store and trying to decide, I finally went up to the counter (Also with a copy of Super Mario All-Stars) and checked out.
I handed the cashier the Target ad, which listed the DSi at $127, so after double-checking the price with her supervisor, she punched it into the computer and rang me up.
However, after doing this, the computer prompted her that I was also eligible for a $30 gift card. "That's cool." I proclaim. I also had a $10 Reward Zone Certificate, so after all was said and done, and considering the value of the gift card, I walked out with a brand new DSi for $90.
Glad I stopped by. On top of that, a friend of mine does the big brothers big sisters thing so I'm gonna give my DS Lite and a few DS games that I don't play much anymore to her "little brother" as he's wanted one for some time. I'd rather give the thing to someone that'll enjoy it and appreciate it rather than sell or trade the thing to some faceless corporation or stranger.

Now with the white one, it doesn't matter as much.

I think the Red & Silver compliment each other well.
And you don't have to necessarily use the stand.

Like Proyebat said, Half-Life: Source as well as the original version of Half-Life.

Waka: Madworld is silly fun. Gets kind of repetitive, but it never loses its sadistic charm.
I dropped the omnibus on my foot when I fished it out of the closet, yup it hurt. You cant beat Nausicaa's reversable cover.
