Yeah, I like the idea of the glyph being something for "oh shit" moments.
I'm still not really understanding the reasoning. If you take the glyph in case something goes horribly wrong, it means you basically can't go into metamorphosis as a demonology warlock because of the 500% threat modifier the glyph has (unless that's a beta bug).
Apparently there was a follow-up post that sheds more light. The glyph will add a second metamorphosis, called Threatening Presence. You'd still be able to shift into normal metamorphosis for dps.

The hardest thing for me about playing DPS specs in WoW to their fullest potential is getting bored and falling asleep, so in that sense Fire is one of the easiest specs to play!
Put diseases up obliterate all the runes but howling blast when it procs and mash frost strike as a runic power dump.

I've been frost for pretty much the entirety of 'clysm. I have a kinda love/hate relationship with it. Sometimes I get lots of killing machine procs and do great DPS. Other times I'll go a good stretch with none. But I love the burst potential. Been a couple times at the beginning of fights where I've died because I pop Cooldowns and get like 4 KM procs in a row and get my face punched in. unholy is a blast though. Only reason I haven't been unholy more is sometimes we don't have the Melee haste buff.
If we didn't have to make Naph or Cilla heal we'd have spell haste!
Sier is back in town if we need her.
It's like. Everytime I respecced to unholy dys couldn't make it that night so I had to go back to frost. I blame this all on dys and his stupid million mount having self.

the amount of times I've had tanked a boss and was able to stay alive long enough to either kill it or get the tank ressed is quite numerous
