I wouldn't say I have a fetish, as they don't turn me on more than, say, pussy, but yeah, I can appreciate a lady who puts effort into dressing up her feet, as much as I can appreciate dressing up anything else (or...undressing? not really sure where I'm going here).
We were going up to Canada for VanPAX to stay with Zonkytonkman and we got lost because google maps took us through the nexus of the universe.
We pulled into a parking lot to get directions.
During the detour I:
1. Went* into Tim Hortons and bought some timbits.
2. When Zonky gave directions, nap demanded a pen and I had to admit I didn't have any in my car.
3. @Redeemer volunteered that he had a number of pencils, pens and colored varieties of both and that yes, a bad gay, would not have such things.
So after #2, Nap angrily said "Neville you're the worst gay" and, despite my protestations, the nickname stuck.

I can understand not wanting to send gifts to a person you regularly butt heads with.
I can understand that, too, but at the same time if you can't put that shit aside and try to just be nice to someone just this once, even someone you dislike, well, then... maybe don't participate?
To be fair I don't dislike anyone here, but even if I got someone on my shitlist I would do my best to give them an awesome gift. Cuz, you know, there's something likeable about everyone, and just because you don't like them doesn't mean they don't deserve to have nice things done for them!
I don't know, part of me wishes I'd thought to pick my satanee just because I had ideas for some people I saw more than others. Like, if you want make up, screw you, I don't know dick about make up. I hope you've got other options up there.
In the end, though, for me the randomness is part of the fun. Just somebody who didn't put down much besides makeup is probably getting chewing gum.

as a general answer, if it's an excuse that is very valid to you, then so be it - just don't participate then

people on here are universally awesome, it just looks a little different from person to person... I guess a little empathy for why someone might be terrible in your eyes or have reasons for being the way they are can't go amiss, particularly during the holiday season
But seriously, not that I can think of anybody I don't like (although it's entirely possible there's folks who aren't big Tox fans), but I'd have no problem with someone I was less than thrilled with as a forumer being my satanee. Like, I'd be all "oh sweet this is the perfect opportunity to show this person that I still think they're a good person deserving of giftings"
