Political cartoons serve the ever-useful reminder that there is more to politics than seeing who can emote better. The reactionary might do it better than you, in fact.

but seriously that dark haired liberal chick
what is that thing on her upper arm?
because it looks like a rad tat that reminds me of a long sleeved glove that has been moth eaten and therefore boneability +2000
You do know we are now obligated to hunt you down like the animal you are.
The best thing about that cartoon is that I don't know what answers it is expecting to its leading questions.
I mean, the gay couple don't have fangs or anything. I can maybe assume the writer is anti-gay.
The breakfast part? I have no idea which is supposed to be the correct answer.
Think about it.
One is a bunch of kids eating at a STATE RUN school.
The other, a loving female in the kitchen, serving food to her children.

I sat through that whole Straw Dogs remake. As remakes go, was a'ight!
Dracula from Blade was maybe a rapist but probably not and sometimes his arm was broken but he didn't seem to mind then Cyclops killed a guy spectacularly. Also hillbillies!
Oh brilliant

Haha, even in the picture the dinosaur just looks like "WTF is this shit, is this a leaf?! How the fuck do I eat this thing?"

GLORY be to God for dappled things—
For skies of couple-colour as a brinded cow;
For rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim;
Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches’ wings;
Landscape plotted and pieced—fold, fallow, and plough;
And áll trádes, their gear and tackle and trim.
All things counter, original, spare, strange;
Whatever is fickle, freckled (who knows how?)
With swift, slow; sweet, sour; adazzle, dim;
He fathers-forth whose beauty is past change:
Praise him.

that comic essentially has no visible political message
it might as well be a visual census question or voting ballot
Yeah, it's clear that he assumes that the correct answers will be obvious to everyone, but there really aren't any visual cues in there, so if you're coming at the images without knowledge of the specific moral framework they represent it seems pretty baffling.

No it's message is quite clear.
"Traditional Family is the one true family unit."
It's just presenting an already stupid opinion in an even dumber manner.
the comic doesn't actually say that
it has no message in itself
it's simply an appeal to people who already agree with the author's opinion that the homosexual family is horrible, and that kids should eat breakfast at home
if you don't agree with him it doesn't even look like a comic

It isn't clear at all.
The pictures all show happy people being fine.
Oh no doubt it's poorly designed. But it isn't FOR you.
It's a very good representation of a dog whistle. If you don't already believe it teaches nothing. But it isn't meant to be evangelistic but rather echo chamber inducing.
It's because the homophobes have realized that more and more people aren't giving a shit about if gay people get to get married, but people aren't quite so comfortable yet with the idea of Teh Gays raising children. Which is dumb, since gays are already totally raising children, idiots.
But now instead of saying "Fags burn in hell" they try to go, "Yeah, fine, you don't hate gays, but do you want little kids to be raised in the same house with two bearded men!? Just think about them both 69'ing, with their bristly beards getting all sticky with.... Err, umm.... THINK OF THE CHILDREN! In the house at the same time as that very, very mmMm uhh wrong debauchery! It's very, very wrong, which is why I think about it a lot!"

Of course, but that's its purpose. Conservative media doesn't exist to educate, it exists to reinforce assumptions. It isn't meant to be thought about.

Direct quote from someone I know who shall remain unidentified:
"I don't care if someone's gay or not. That's their life. I just don't want someone teaching my kids that's okay."

Yeah, it's hard to keep track of what absolutely normal and harmless things conservatives find appalling.
Think about it.

The other, a loving female in the kitchen, serving food to her children.

Conservatives are all about that shit.
If you know, then you'll immediately see what's wrong with that picture.
They have to be able to tell these things apart because the liberal agenda is so nefarious and subtle.

Well then he should have at least made the kids in the wrong panels sad.

I think its adorable that he thinks the shit done to black people and Native Americans was done only in the country's early history.
STO? Try unassigning and reassigning them on the ship stations page.
