    I don't remember having nap-times at Kindergarten.

I remember on a hot dog day, I lied to the teacher about having a chocolate allergy so that I could have regular milk and she had to ask a little girl to trade with me.

wow, I would lie to get chocolate milk.

I even made a comic about it, but when I was a kid, my babysitter asked if I wanted chocolate or white milk with my lunch. I thought she meant white chocolate, so I was excited about this new weird thing.

I'm pretty sure on the hot dog day sheet I my mom had checked off regular milk, barbecue chips and hot dog.

I was expecting regular milk all day.

Then I received chocolate milk and I got very nervous and uncomfortable and did everything I could to avoid the new thing, no matter how great it may be, so I could get back to my comfort zone.

And that has been my life ever since.

Hmm, doesn't feel that way at all to me.

If it were switched you'd have the guy growing increasingly confused the more he thinks about the subject in question, which is particularly funny in the original context of understanding people start as babies but works even without that. In the original order he starts off super confused then ends up less confused? Unless there's an extra joke I'm missing I don't see why that'd be funnier.

I'm curious to hear your interpretation.

Aren't Superman and Wonderwoman a 'thing' now in the latest comic.. whatever? Then again there's like 50 different interpretations out there I'm not sure if there is an actual canon anymore.

Yes, there is still an actual canon, and yes, in the current one Superman and Wonder Woman are together.

I'll bet Superman is just gonna bang Wonder Woman and then reverse the rotation of the Earth and save Lois so technically he didn't cheat.

there would be 2 Lois then, the corpse in space and the live one on Earth

if they ever meet, it'll be super awkward

What is that even supposed to mean?

God comics are so fucking simple I don't know how you people who don't read them manage to make it sound so confusing.

Well, I like Tupac, I believe in the afterlife, and who else would you put into the misery of being a living corpse?

The justice league game is a parellel universe from the cannon one.

There are only 52 universes, some are dumb.

Which ones are the God Comics?

Look I'm sorry. That was kinda rude.

But every other day I walk into this thread someone is bitching about comicbooks and its always "Oh its so dumb and confusing' and its always based on on nothing.

I'm not saying anybody is stupid cause they can't understand or that they should put any effort into that. I'm saying that there are some people in this thread with a very casually dismissive attitude and that's kinda frustrating to see so often.

Yes Superman and WOnderwoman are together. That is the end of it. There are different interpretations of the characters but that doesn't make it a new continuity. One writer leaves a book and another goes on it.

As far as I know, she's currently seeing someone else and was seeing said someone first. That gave WW her chance to swoop in after her...I suppose you could call it a breakup with Steve Trevor at the end of Justice League's second story. Say what you will about DCnU BTW but I like what they did with Steve's character.

I'm not talking like, the books themselves

You want to go swing by a shop and pick up the latest hawkguy, go for it, totally worth your money whether you know the subject matter or not

what's difficult is getting into COMICS, where you need to know the interconnectedness of everything
