I don't understand why people disliked the first Thor movie. I thought it was a lot of fun. I also really liked the Thomas Jane Punisher film, I really hope they do another with Jane now that they've reacquired the rights.
++ for the Thomas Jane Punisher movie. The only complaint would be they softened him up just a little bit but I suspect you'd have to for a major movie release.
Really the short film he did revisiting it was just perfect Punisher through and through.
The weakness of the first Thor movie IMO is solely the condensed timespan of Thor's exhile. But I agree (and didn't know) that a whole other identity for him would've been too much.
Also I swear the visual effects people on the most recent Thor were borrowing from gaming heavily...
Someone loved that Knights of the Old Republic scene, and the Dark Elves had their own version of the Collector general it seems.

I just want to say that come next year, we will be watching a movie starring Rocket Raccoon. It is awesome, and I swear I never thought I'd be saying those words in my life, ever.
Thor: The Dark World hits theaters this week, and now Comedy Central has made a video featuring your boyfriend Tom Hiddleston as Thor’s fraternal nemesis Loki. The short clip finds the trickster god having a frank exchange of ideas with some adorable children. The spot debuts tomorrow, but you can watch it in all its cute-kid-despising glory below:

because it's an opportunity for marvel to feature an asian superhero and yeah the martial arts thing makes sense.
