This is neat. I will check out his blog later. It would be cool to see ones about sheep, goats, wheat, cattle, pigs, horses etc...
From what I have read it is almost impossible to tell the difference between the wild ancestors of sheep from those of goats. And neither produce hair suitable for making textiles. That was an "artificial" trait bred into sheep by humans ("natural" fibers are nothing but)

I like Andy Warhol's quote about even if you're rich or a hobo, the Coke you drink is the same.
They can put all the diamonds and bling in the world on an iPhone, it's still a goddamn iPhone just like mine.
Man, what's up with this super-disconnected feeling, like I don't don't have any notable acquaintances or family. Right now, I care as much about my potted plants as I do about any other living thing. Kind of tired, too.
So guys, work is being a fascism and won't let me buy a $2300 Macbook Pro on my department's budget. They will however let me buy literally any computer from Dell, HP, or Lenovo. I might be able to get them to buy Asus or something if I find something great.
I like this one from Dell, but people seem to not love it in reviews. They say things like "the wifi straight up doesn't work" and "it has poor quality control". Does anyone own a hellishly expensive PC laptop they can recommend? I want something thin and light with an i7, a legit GPU, a reasonably sized SSD, and ~15" ultra HD screen. It can omit legacy garbage like optical drives and serial ports. Touchscreen is, oddly, a plus since all the software I write ends up on factory touchscreens anyway, so usability testing is a lot easier when I can do it continuously as I program.

also i had an xps13 a while back when i started grad school and it was the biggest piece of shit i've ever owned. fried ram when 3 weeks old, dealing with dell support was a pain in the ass. the entire laptop was bent from day 1, as in, it didn't sit level on a table. it was awful.
as soon as i got a job i bought a mac and have never looked back

It is a long con before he goes on a murder spree and claims insanity.
He is looking for a secondary income stream by monetizing his appearance after looking at TF2 hat sales.
