I already own all of Broken Age for "free" on Steam because I backed the Kickstarter, but I will probably buy it again on PS4 solely to get all the trophies in it (and also to have a copy on my shelf, because I think they're doing it for retail)
Homeworld and Dawn of War hold a special place in my heart for giving me the ability to pause the game and zoom around looking at all the frozen lasers and missiles. Also, Homeworld had a first-person camera view for space ships, which was awesome.
the list of games i am interested in an hd remake is very small, but as a way to preserve important or popular games for younger audiences it's a good idea.
Well sure if you haven't played the game I mean it's basically a new game.
But for instance Dan has made a big deal about the gta v port even though he's played it and it's like why. It looks a little better
okay, what if a game you liked was being made better while you were still interested in it and had time to play it again?
+1

I would say GTAV looks quite a lot better, and it's a good excuse to play that game again particularly when you've probably packed away the system that the game originally released on.
I don't know why but I can never care about hd remakes. If it's not a new game why would I buy it again?
I've played though Half-Life, or some variant thereof (Half-Life: Source, Black Mesa) possibly more than 30 times. I've literally lost count at this point.
I just don't buy games of a certain type until they have a "game of the year" edition and I expanded that rule to HD rereleases for games released near the console transition. It's served me well so far, the only game that's been an exception is Mass Effect since they're assholes who never came out with a version containing all of the DLC.

I really want that on either Android or Windows, because I want to play it very much so, but not enough to go out and buy an iOS device to play it on.
Don't care though, all the multi-beam frigates!
YEAH
Now give me Dawn of War: Dark Crusade Remastered
having a problem
This is basically me
I barely replay games as it is
well, people who never played the games coming out as HD remakes means I get an easy way to try them
lord knows without this resident evil HD release on steam I'd probably never have played it ever, and now I'm really enjoying it

Some people play games over and over
from that perspective it makes sense
I just don't get it

what about the excuse of
liking good games

Basically this
My reaction to that kind of question is the same as when people ask why I buy movies I've already seen
Because I liked them a lot and would like to experience them again
you should go play some of those then
Every day, I miss snap more and more.
Why I fear the ocean.
Paid full price for it twice, worth every penny
so
GTAV
no, because gtav isn't a good game it's a bad game
pistols at dawn
He's just getting cigarettes! He'll be back any minute now, and you'll be sorry you doubted him!
Why I fear the ocean.
pistols at now bam ur dead
So you dump on metal gear for its problematic portrayal of women (which it does have issues with) but GTA (GTA!!!!?) gets the thumbs up? Bwah?
I think that game is actually hard to play on newer OSes, so a version that works better is a great thing
