Man I really need to get around to finishing New Vegas. When I last left off I had slept with Benny and was deciding whether to let him die or free him.

I played New Vegas on PS3 a few years ago. I got to an abandoned building full of mines and traps or something, I set one off and the game hard locked my PS3. That was the last time I played it.
YAY! This is awesome! I was listening to people in PA G&T Adventure Team chat talk about this when it came out and it sounded like a lot of fun! I watched a lot of DBZ back in the day so I'm looking forward to getting back into it with this. Thank you so much for running this, @EriktheVikingGamer

It's definitely a nostalgia hype machine. If you even remotely enjoyed the series this will tickle that fancy even more. I need to get back into it, fell off just after the Cell Saga.
I have the prize (and it's a good one). I just need to think of the contest. Alas, I'm drawing a blank. Anyone got any great ideas in their head for a contest? Maybe I can have a "think up a contest" contest?
Has anyone played Basketbelle? That looks delightful.
It's a very short, fairly simplistic platformer with beautiful art and a sweet but also rather simple story. I quite enjoyed it, thanks again @Pixelated Pixie.

PM me if you have any neat ideas...
I'm trying to think of something I'm really good at so that I can win the contest, but I'm drawing a blank on that too.

Have people message you, you respond with two random objects, like "Teakettle and Intercontinental Ballistic Missile" for one guy and the other like "Medal of Honor and Deep Sea Monstrosities" then they have to find an image on google that has their two objects in the picture.
Best representation of both objects wins.

Darkest Dungeon, more like, Hardest Dungeon? Amite??
There's two ways it is hard - it's hard right when you are starting up a new campaign and it's hard when you are still learning to play it. Given those both things usually happen at the same time, the difficulty curve is rather front-loaded. You can never lose though, so just keep on throwing new bodies at it until a few of them survive. :P
Anyone here ever try that mod that merges Fallout 3 and New Vegas into one game on the New Vegas engine? I figure it might be a better way to bang out both games before Fallout 4 comes out in the fall.
Yes, I've been playing it on and off. It works well. Any bugs I've encountered were from other mods, and not from Tale of Two Wastelands itself.
Yeah my friend was telling me about it, needing the precision of kbam because of the ammo scarcity for the good guns, and the armored bullet spongey-ness of the harder enemies.

WHAT. WHAT IS THIS. I HAVE EXPRESSED SO MUCH DESIRE FOR THIS GAME TO BE ON STEAM FOR YEARS AND IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING? WHEN? I CANNOT SEE BECAUSE I AM AT WORK.

Thank for making a pre-holiday Thursday go by much quicker.

ps, however you are making me want to blow off the work I have to get done before the holiday weekend and just play video games, so that's not really helping.
I like the Tales game, I've played a few of them. Symphonia is the one I probably remember the plot of the best. Which is still not that well.
But it's a pretty good representation of a full blown JRPG. I think at the time it was one of the first I'd played that didn't involve random battles. Rather you could see the encounters coming up on the map. You still had to fight a ton in order to level up properly and all that, but it was a relief to not just walk a few feet and then whoosh fight song battle intro.
Nice to see them bringing some of this stuff to a wider audience. Fingers crossed they do a good job.
I wonder if all of the JRPG goodness we're getting on Steam might not open a path for indie devs in Japan to getting their stuff on Steam. Sure, we've seen stuff like Cave Story and La Mulana make it, but there's a huge world of stuff out there.

Because Tales of Symphonia is coming to Steam.
Never having played Symphonia, I think I can still say that you got the better side of that trade.
I can't keep up with these games. It's cool that it's coming to Steam but is it a new one or a port of an older one?
EDIT - nm, I forgot Google exists. It's an older one. I thought it looked familiar. Probably one I played, even!

One of my top 2 console RPGs ever (other being Xenogears)
I would also love to see Tech Romancer, but it didn't have the popularity of Skies or Shenmue so I don't see it happening
Thanks so much @Pixelated Pixie I cant wait to be super emo about murdering everyone.

Wow, they sure do. If you could wish for a Dragon's Dogma PC version for me, that would be faaaaantastic.
