on the first result in google for currency exchange, $257 US, which is for the hoodie tier plus 1 second pin reward comes to $350.57AU, not sure if that is an up to date exchange rate, but that is damn hefty.......TGF credit cards : /
Heads up that I'm 98% sure I'm going to drop down to the pin level, so if anyone wants the hoodie for $5 cheaper than the add-on price, let me know and we can work out a time to switch.

It's not actually cheaper. The shipping bumps up $5 when you select that level, making it a $70 difference between levels, aka the same price as the hoodie add-on.
Ok, because I always want to know stuff, I've had a quick look at the numbers guessed so far.
The lowest is 592 and the highest 7542. (Both seem unlikely to me. )
Three numbers have been duplicated so far (rules on this are unclear). Person listed first posted first.

As much as it pains me to be missing out on an awesome pin, I just can't afford this kickstarter. Having a four-month-old kinda puts the brakes on all the pin spending. Glad to see the kickstarter doing so well though, looking forward to Automata!
Of course, we won't know the final answer until next year, right? I mean, since these are add-ons, they'll be part of the Kickstarter survey, which generally doesn't go out until stuff is close to shipping.

I don't think that's possible? They'd need to know how many add-on pins they need to print before they print them, so survey results will have to be collected before then.
anyone doing the math trying to figure out how many add on pins? I think there is a possibility of around 4000 pins if you just went off the backer numbers and the funded amount but that is way to little on information to think it is going to make 4000 a good guess
I definitely low balled my guess, but if it was more than 2K pins I'd be shocked. Don't forget that the hoodie add on was $70, so that's going to screw up any sort of guess on add-on pins.
I can't believe I dropped $275 on this, thank god I was just offered all the OT I want for the next few weeks.

I wouldn't be that surprised if it broke 2k, just because you have 1131 people that can buy add on pins and I know some won't buy any but I think there are going to be a few that bought 10 extras, just because it could be a great pin for trades. I'll stick with my guess but almost wish I could second guess off 2092
I only bought one spare because I don't see this being very "tradeable." Everyone who wants one is going to have it, making it not nearly as valuable as the initial pin... which won't be that valuable either.

The only people I can imagine buying 10 add-on pins are either crazy betting on it being sought after, have a ton of friends that asked them to get them one, or are ebay hucksters trying to make some bucks.
I have serious doubts any of those are common cases ... If it breaks 2K I'll be just as shocked as TAC.
