Feels kind of like a sick joke that the season that came out the day after St. Patrick's opens with a massacre of Irishmen.
And after that hospital scene I hope hope hope hope they don't turn Frank Castle into a sympathetic antihero because holy balls. This does not play well in 2016.

A) theres a daredevil thread sympathetic? A little. Hero? No.
"R-rated" from Telltale isn't an automatic bad sign
Walking Dead S1, Wolf Among Us, and Borderlands were all Very Good Rated R
On the other hand, Game Of Thrones was Not
I think that is more Game of Thrones the shop's fault than Telltale
Not to say they are blameless
But they were trying to imitate the stuff people always clamor about in the show and turns out those parts are pretty shitty on their own and also in the context of a narrative driven game.
A few more details about Telltale's Batman I didn't see posted:
You will also have the ability to choose to deal with situations as either Bruce Wayne or Batman, it isn't as clear cut as "this is a Bruce section" or anything.
It isn't tied to a specific universe or storyline and is instead meant to be a recognizable iconic version of Batman bringing together his greatest elements.
Nightwing, Robin and the rest of the Bat-Family likely won't appear as they want the focus on superheroics to be on Bruce.
The supporting cast will include Alfred, Vicki Vale, Commissioner Gordon and Renee Montoya.

You will play as both Bruce Wayne and Batman, with a bigger emphasis on the Bruce sections
They also are shooting for an "R-rated" tone
I hope A-game Telltale shows up for this one.
Ooh, that sounds neat-
Awwwww
They seem to really be pushing the "Bruce and Batman are basically different people" angle
They were talking about how when decision points come up, you can pick if Bruce or Batman is the one making the choice
They are also encouraging you to play Bruce and Batman with different personalities
Batman could be a stoic watchman of the night or he could talk shit back to the villains
gameplay tutorial of the first episode is flashback to crime alley
you get a "thomas will remember that" or "martha will remember that" right before Joe Cool shows up
SIGN ME THE FUCK UP
The Black Mirror would probably be rated R if it was adapted in its entirety and it is one of the best Batman stories ever.
I'm definitely intrigued by the Bruce/Batman dynamic

Even though it probably outsold all their other games combined by 3:1
Borderlands was R rated? Sure it had gore, but I think that T gore is a lot more lenient than PG13 gore
They said "fuck" like a million times per episode and blew up people and gouged out eyes and chopped off arms
Tales from the Borderlands was super R
You're probably right
R-rated Batman to me though is like, The Killing Joke, or that thing where Joker cut his face off or whatever
You're right.
But you've got to admit.
That would be a hell of a twist!
Bruce is the beneficiary of his parents' MetLife insurance policies
It all starts to come together....
That's not the same as "he acts differently depending on which persona he's currently using," though
Even the Animated Series did that
Ohh ohh please share (I refuse to see it)
Yeah I'm real interested in this piece of shit, let's hear it

They are pretty easy to poke around and find.
Camera changes to the outside just as the shots go off, and he's on the roof in one piece.
Saved by the cut, I guess? :P
I checked the D&D DC Movie thread and got bupkis
That is officially all of the places I look for these kinds of things

Give me the stealth Gotham Central game I always wanted, Telltale
I would not be surprised if they take a bit of inspiration from Wolf Among Us and have an emphasis on his relationship with the cops.
