also hinted that Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (1974) might be getting a new release soon as well
Neat, don't think I've ever seen the original version. Sounds like rights complications have ensured that the American 1985 will never get released though, which is a bit of a pity; gonna miss those two control room dudes who popped up occasionally to drink Coca-Cola and contribute nothing.
If they had a female Bond I think she should still be called James.

Yeah, they'd probably think they were being clever by making it Jane or Jenny or Jean, but that would be kind of dumb. James is a perfectly good name for a female super spy.

Since I like the theory that James Bond is actually a codename I agree it should be James no matter the gender.
Toyko drift, but with hacked cars and unwitting drivers turned passenger screaming the whole way

Somebody is using the Internet to hack into bank trucks and cause then to reroute into a secret mountain facility where they are emptied of their contents and the drivers killed.
I really like the Fast and Furious movies (at least the most recent ones) but holy crap, who would have ever imagined that we would be in the 8th installment?
What other series reaches that number and is still relevant?

I think the better question to ask is is there a series that is that long with the same main character(s), acted by the same people, that is still relevant

Still, having the number "8" on there draws more attention than "Goldeneye" or "First Contact" or what have you. But I guess "Episode VIII" is pretty much the same thing as "8".
