q cassia after 16 against samuro yrel anubarak is a real good time.
they blob so hard on everyone and it's just Q town. it would get full CDR every time and a hundred side shots are coming off and it was really silly. could barely even AA because I was Qing so much.
They need to rebuild hanzo from the ground up, dude is so busted in hgc still and he’s beyond useless at even master levels of play.
I am so tired of him.
Scatter arrow is the same problem in this game as it was in Overwatch. Change it to match his current thing where his slow wind up auto attack fires quickly the next 6 shots or less (probably less unless you tweak his auto attack numbers). I know they built the whole new mechanics for the scatter arrow into the game and it might seem a bit wasteful but other heroes can use it now (Junkrat) and sometimes you just have to take a hit for the health of the game. But that insane poke he gets JUST because of scatter arrow kind of sucks.
Honestly, and hear me out, IMO the biggest problem I've seen is guys like you all who watch a lot of pro games and talk about strategy but are playing at any level other than grandmaster or whatever.
Because yes, sometimes you draft poorly, sometimes the team makes poor strategic decisions, sometimes your teammates just aren't very good or good at the hero they chose. But unless you're playing at the highest level, most of that is less important than working together as a team.
The guy who gets frustrated midgame and busts out the slurs and profanity? I don't like it but I understand that guy at least, it's like road rage, he's probably a nice guy but in a frustrating situation vents at strangers with the meanest words he knows. Fine, silence him and move on, he'll keep playing, probably too aggressively but he still wants to win.
But the "expert" player? They've decided the game is already lost because the team comp is unorthodox and he's just waiting for the "inevitable" loss, making it so through non-participation. The best advice I've ever heard for this game is that it's better to do the wrong thing together than attempt the right thing by yourself.
I mean, SeGa Tai defends that Cassia player... and, IMO even though his choices were justified by pro strategy, he should have supported his teammates. That comp shouldn't even fight mid? But they are, and if he supports them maybe they don't eat two deaths. They shouldn't defend because the enemy has 10 and they don't? But they are, and the video shows Rag and Diablo get a few enemies low, if only Cassia had been there they've have a few kills and close the exp gap.
I'm sure you all see things like this, "why is he going for a camp now?" - well you can let him slowly solo the camp and engage shorthanded or you could just go help, take a few seconds to quickly take the camp and go together to do whatever. Maybe you're too late now but it's better than the certain failure and then berating that poor bastard.
I mean, in one ranked game our fifth person went Jaina instead of a support and we had no healer. A couple of guys go nuts and start with the "gg"s and "remember to report him for the throw", and I do my best to say, "listen, I'm not happy with his choice but we can still do this" and... we do. Everyone calms down and with Kael/Jaina/Alarak/2 bruisers I don't remember we just blow the other team up repeatedly, relying on CC and quick kills to keep incoming damage low.
If you're in this situation IMO just quickly pitch a strategy that could work and do your best to execute with the team. A quick "it's fine, we just need to..." or "ok, this isn't working, let's try to..." and then dying while trying to perform the plan is far superior to Cassia lecture and fucking off to do the "right" thing on your own.
I don't even like it when you guys call people "potatoes", because let's be clear about this, you're calling them retards, you've just created a new slang term for it, and it's not just unkind, it strikes me as very elitist. These people aren't stupid, they're just ignorant of high level game strategy that, honestly, they probably don't even really need at their level.
"Defends" is a stronger word then I'd use. I know why he thinks he is doing the right thing, and why he thinks he isn't doing anything worth getting penalized, but he is actively not helping teammates right next to him and I'm glad he got reported, just cause anyone that makes that kinda reddit post doesn't have a good attitude for a team game

While I understand the point you're making I fail to understand the need to over-generalize and accuse everyone here of doing it. Not everyone who posts here does or says the same things.
I especially question the assumption that calling someone a "potato" means that in the back of our minds we are calling them "retards". Why not take it one step further and say we're really calling them racist epithets?
GG vs Liquid game 4 might have one of the biggest throws in hgc history. That was embarrassing and is probably going to keep granite gaming from western clash.

dehaka walks up to the gate, full hp, i have trait stored, AA WD AA Q and he goes from like almost full to <20% in an instant. if ducks had swift strike off CD i think he'd have basically instantly died as a tank.

Finally had a decent game. He's tricky for sure, but I'm starting to feel him. Focusing on Cleave build since it seems the least intensive. Forgot to grab the healing talent at 20, which would have had fewer deaths. Oops!
