Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2, Shang Chi, Eternals and Black Widow are the ones I know about that are 'in development' to greater or lesser extents, and I'd much rather see any of those than retreads of the Fox superhero movies.

We do have Kingpin in the MCU kind of via Daredevil. Vincent D'Onofrio just chews through scenery and other actors and well everything in that show. He is just so good.

I would be extremely into a fun she hulk comedy.

Like just about her being a super strong lawyer, mostly dealing with the aftermath of the MCU heroics. I like the idea of someone whose power is completely unrelated to what they actually do with their time.

“Why aren’t you an Avenger, lady?”

“Because they already got a Hulk and he doesn’t have a JD from Georgetown.”

I would class myself as 'not particularly curious' how the MCU X-Men will differ from the PatStew/Jackman X-Men. I suspect the answer would be 'honestly not very much'. If they did start making those movies the second the ink on the Fox/Disney merger was dry I would sigh mournfully and probably not bother with them unless reviews were spectacular.

It is a dumb title, but it is a reference to the first Avengers film.

It's a direct line from the third one:
"We are in the endgame now"

    Er, yes.
I was actually thinking of AoU, where Stark talks about the 'endgame' (referring to alien threats) in his speech after Ultron escapes.

Tunnelling insects have infested the dormitories! One of my engineers has rigged up a quad of heaters, turned them all to 100 and ran like hell. We'll see if we can clear the infestation.

I've read most of the things that have been suggested in [chat] lately.

    Nothing too heavy pls.

Well you will never be able to cast more perfect actors than Jackman/Stewart for those rules. Kind of like Ryan Reynolds was born/created in a lab to play Deadpool.

Are there any good stories unmined yet?

I guess they could do an alternate timeline thing with Age of Apocalypse

That would at least be different

There is some good stuff in the Wolverine and the X-Men comics but they have a different cast as the focus.

I mean if they did bring X-Men to the MCU you could do AvX but maybe less dumb?

The Mutant Massacre, The Fall of the Mutants, Inferno, the X-Cutioner's Song, the X-Tinction Agenda. Yeah, a ton of good but not quite as iconic as, say, Days Of Future Past is available, but mostly they're pretty convoluted and are very much stories in an ongoing saga (all being driven by Claremont to a large extent) rather than pop out and use ideas for stand alone movies.

The X-Men and the Avengers existing in two separate cinematic universes is, possibly, a better idea than having them co-exist like in the 616 comics universe.

Didn’t they already do an alternate timeline with days of the future past?

    Deadpool did it better.

I mean I love Days of Future Past though.

How about a proper Age of Apocalypse movie where Apocalypse has won and the world is shit and you get all sorts of fun dystopian stories.

What has Matt Damon gotten himself into this time? At least it’s a much easier rescue mission

"Alright, how much food does he have?"

"About 180 days worth, give or take."

"... We could fly, like, a dozen rescue missions in that time. Is he even in danger? Has he expressed any concern? He gets satellite TV up there, right? Just tell him to sit tight and we'll get to him in a couple months when some of this high-priority stuff is off the table."
