I don't like teabagging, it feels enormously more direspectful than taunting

it is generally my position that being shitty to someone you're beating is childish and embarrassing, and it's weird to me that anyone thinks otherwise

Some of the taunts are cool looking or just cute
Teabagging has always been bad and i loathe it's presence
I wish I had something funny to do after successful gun stage spiked but I'm sure my opponent can imagine me doubled over in laughter without any assistance
was maximum velocity that stupid dumb anime that starred the spiky orange hair guy who like used to be a cop and then something happens and he wakes up in the future and captain falcon is his mentor and why do I remember so much of that dumb show?
edit: oh wait no it was just the GBA game. yeah that was a good game.

If you're King K. Rool or DDD then using the duck is not teabagging, it's either taking a bow or a ludicrously sarcastic respite.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

I was having some pretty good matches with this Dark Samus, but then I SD'ed and they start teabagging, retroactively ruining the good times I had in the previous matches with them!
I'd much rather they have just spun around and posed.

All the people I see complaining that online feels like molasses makes me worried the first time I play in person I'm going to be operating on like a five second brain lag. It can already feel like it's going too fast.
It looks like it's going to be a little leaner than last week, due to PAX
And that got me to wondering: would y'all like a change of pace for next week? I'm thinking we could have a Goofy Tournament, so to speak, with rulesets that are pure bullshit. All items on, Final Smash meter, random stage for each set, the works
It'd just be a relaxed, fun, goofy thing, and I'd set it up so it wouldn't affect anyone's Challonge rating in any way
we did do that one 1v1 goofy tournament on the first weekend that barely anyone signed up for, and it just wasn't very fun. Maybe if it was 2v2 with team attack on?
My thought is that the tournament from the first week might have had low turn-out partially because it came literally a day after the comp tournament. I would have signed up for it myself if it'd been a Saturday dealie!
A teams tournament sounds fun, too, but we've had problems getting those organized in the past (which is why @SilverWind and I are the default tagteam champs of these forums)
Though of course if people aren't interested we'll just keep trucking with the tourneys as they are, as this format is already fun

I feel like items just aren't fun unless you have the person on the couch next to you to cackle at as you edgeguard them with the bullshit blower item.
FWIW I didn't find it not fun because of the low turnout, I found it not fun because it ended up feeling like whoever got the assist trophies and pokemon pretty much won.
I don't think I ever got my piranha plant code and I checked my email filters too. Were they sending them in waves?

The subject of the email is "Thanks for your purchase of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game" and is from the address "nintendo-noreply@nintendo.net." Check your spam folder, or if you're on Gmail, check your Promo folder. That's where mine was.
If you suspect you may have lost your code or never received it, even after checking every which-a-way in your email, get in contact with customer support. Some of the folks in this thread did so and it seems like they got helped pretty fast

I'd always do Salutation Taunts, it was a respect thing
I was just thinking: make Samurai Goroh an echo for K. Rool, and change the steampunk/pirate gear to future tech.
IIRC, nowhere in F-Zero lore is it said that Goroh doesn’t own a Jetpack.
Ah, the Fox reasoning.

i want to have a reveal trailer that ends with confusion as the crowd is like "who's Megan"

this is incorrect.
Mashing it is getting your squats in because the real battle begins now.
