I legit cant wait until they get in to the implied mechanics of Gem color they have hinted at for awhile.
Huh?
So this was mostly a joke about the way naruto Shippodin just sort of retroactively added a whole magic system that had only been hinted at during original recipe Naruto but also this a pet theory I have.
I believe that while "Off-color" has come to mean any deviation from a Gems intended form it original was more literal. I believe that there is a greater logic to the way colors interact with each other and the reason White felt she needed to separate herself from other gems. She gives a speech in the finale where she talks about the way the "light" of each Diamond effects the other. Most fans seem to have taken that speech as mostly metaphorical but I think it is the beginnings of a explanation for how the colors of the various Gems effect them. Steven ends the conflict by causing something that appears to be a blush but I don't think its literally just White blushing. I think that similar to the way White is able to assert her will on other gems Steven was also able to touch White in that way represented by White gaining a Pink shade.
I suspect that whatever is going on here will be central to the new season.
YouTube keeps recommending me a 2 hour long video called "Why Steven Universe is Garbage" and I keep telling it no.
It took forever for that video to stop appearing on my youtube. I swear I was starting to think the woman who made it had stock in youtube or something.
I am morbidly curious but not enough to get it into viewing or even search history.
You can find a quick breakdown of her various complaints if you go looking as well as various forum members expressing their feelings about the video a few pages back in this thread.
The two things that stuck in my brain is the idea that Jasper was the real victim in the Jasper/Lapis abusive relationship metaphor and the belief that not having dedicated writers and instead allowing the story boarders to do the writing caused problems.
Even if they didn't have dedicated writers, it almost never felt like there was anything disjointed about it.
An example I have seen people putting forward as proof that the show is being hurt from the lack of dedicated writers is Yellow Diamond. Apparently if you dig into the production details you find Sugar was extremely unhappy with Yellows first appearance at felt that she came off different than she wanted. Sugar would go on to write the next appearance of YD to right the ship. Of course you are probably aware of similar stories coming out of several other shows because TV is a collaborative medium and sometimes things don't come out how you would like.

I don't know what you're talking about. Star Trek: The Next Generation and Parks and Rec were flawless and set in stone from the get go.
I strongly disagree with the assertion that boarders arent writers. They do the entire plot and dialouge They simply add layouts and visuals too. Its disingenuous to imply they aren't

I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
So I'm doing a rewatch of the series and in together breakfast Steven stumbles onto the "Crystal Heart" which according to pearl is connected to all the most dangerous areas of the temple. It appears to just be a giant crystal organ.
I presume the nice lady with the upside down heart in the poster probably is related to that.

What a very good song. It's possibly my favorite wedding episode of a show.
Jake just closing his eyes again at the end of this clip just always gets me
Stevonnie is canon non-binary and intersex!

Farms looking pretty different too.
So glad Steven aged up.
Also, looks like I'll need to get a new Steven shirt with his new blue there.
I'll have to as well, but that's fine since the last one was a little bit form-fitting.
With Steven, who even knows. This could be 5 minutes later but he feels more grown up.

it is 100% not worth viewing
and nothing that person produces is done in any kind of good faith
