Overwatch is a team shooter from Blizzard. It's been out for like 3 years now, you probably know the deal by now.
There's also the Overwatch League, which is an esports league made up of multiple professional teams and also the Florida Mayhem. It's fun!
Replays just came out recently, you can now view your last 10 matches in the replay viewer, it gives you complete access to review the game from any viewpoint you want.
There should be a new hero out in July, but no solid hints are out yet.
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.
I cannot imagine the frustration of being on the same team as Sideshow.
The worst part is that sideshow never, ever tilts
He's happy all the time he plays
Even as he drags his team down, down, down

also i don't have the clip on hand but haksal's POV during that one pharah sleep is hilarious as he slide whistles down the roof
Fissure is retiring from Overwatch and claims that 2-2-2 is coming for stage 4. The funniest outcome would be that this is one last troll from him so I hope that's the case
God I hope it's not a troll. I am so sick to death of solo tanking or solo healing. And the amount of incredibly suspicious low level account DPS players that utterly destroy the other team has gone way up in the last 6 months, hopefully longer queue times will piss on their biscuits and make them quit smurfing.
I will always be down for mystery heroes, and sometimes quick play if I feel like actually making a hero decision.
My normal crew is finally starting to shift away from MH after playing it almost exclusively since inception. I don't know if it's just a confirmation bias thing, or current balance makes it a worse proposition, but we just feel like we're getting comp fucked by the RNG way more often than we used to.
MH is so good when it works, less so when you're trying to attack Anubis A vs Double Symm Bastion Orisa Double Mercy
I wish they'd just give no hero stacking a try in MH, almost every bad game in that mode is caused by that.
That and when you end up 0 healers or tanks for extended periods. Sometimes you can break those horrible stacked comps ( especially since MH sometimes incentivizes you to make sacrifice plays to get rid of a troublesome hero and reset their ult), but when you consistently outplay a team but always lose the battle of attrition because you can't get a healer in your comp, it's demoralizing.
Has anybody tried the "balanced" MH workshop mode? Does it end up forcing 1 person into the same role or does it try and cycle it a bit?
tbh that makes a lot of sense, it's probably a ton faster to just manipulate the existing model than re-edit and re-render a whole new one for a one-off use

Yeah that kind of thing is done all the time, like Skyrim just varying how far a tree is shoved into the ground.
But it definitely looks funny when you pull back the curtain.
...did people really hate them that much? I thought it was thematically appropriate and kinda fun even if it wasn't really my jam
personally i love the idea of a victory screen popping up and just seeing a graveyard, but people complained about how they were the only things that they'd get in their loot boxes during that first halloween event, since they made so many and you'd only get 1 or 2 event items per box back then
Sideshow hasn't watched any of the first half and he comes out and guesses the score before they show him a few setups from the first match and he has to guess what happens next. Highlights include guessing Jinmu 3k Barrage but he actually gets denied and killed by Choihyobin and guessing that YXL EMPs and wins the fight when he actually hits nobody with it. Sideshow almost falls over when he sees the last one.

it is a relief for everyone that he does not draw a salary for playing it

damn unless i luck out i don’t think i’ll hit the 200 token price before the 14th
fun fact
you remember those tombstone victory poses that everyone hated so much they removed them from lootbox drops?
TIL that the whole rest of the character models are just
hangin out under there

I'd rather have had them, instead of like, 15 credits or whatever a dupe of that value gets you.
I use bastion's tombstone as mine because more often than not the whole enemy team will gang up on me
