- Nami asking for help
- "A man only dies when he is forgotten"
- Usopp vs Luffy
- "I want to live!"
- Going Merry at the end of Enies Lobby
- The revelation at the Mink Tribe when Kin'emon arrived
One Piece moments that made me go FUCK YEAH:
- "You asked me if I can throw a punch"
- THAT Celestial Dragon scene
- The revelation at the Mink Tribe when Kin'emon arrived
I don't think I have ever cried more watching a TV series than the Going Merry scene at the end of Enies Lobby.

I like Yonkombecause it’s easier to type on mobile and also something unique to One Piece as a title.
I call the Warlords the Warlords likewise because it’s easier to type

Darwin’s Game is something I’ve been craving for awhile
What's the premise?
Death game where participants get involved by downloading a phone app that gives them a special power called a Sigil and they earn points by getting into a match and killing the other player or players. It expands further as time goes on but that's the most basic premise.
One of the best characters in Darwin Game is the guy on the right of that thumbnail. His Sigil allows him to detect when someone is lying. That's it. It doesn't stop him from being incredibly effective though, since deception doesn't work on him and he can make decisive moves without hesitation.
i go back and forth on this series because the pacing issues are real and wild, but in some ways it feels like necessary baggage of the themes it's swinging for, which do not lend themselves exactly to load-bearing final bosses or a return to the status quo being a happy ending
anyways the page of
real-world
imagery was a bit goofy but i liked this chapter a lot. it's a hell of an endgame confrontation and i hope they can stick the landing
The big thing is that the episode showed how strong Emma is. She's not a Pollyanna, she knows full well the atrocities the others have committed and says that she cannot forgive them. But she's also realized that the pain and suffering of the world is due to the cycle of hate and revenge, and to end the former requires that someone break the latter.
So that's what she's going to do, and she's committed to it.

It's also a gamebreaker in a social game, which is what they're in. That said, the lead basically has a modernized version of Unlimited Blade Works for his Sigil, which us just as gamebreaking.

TV anime ""APPARE-RANMAN!"" is start broadcasting from April 2020 in Japan.
Don't miss it!
I don't know what this is but from the trailer it seems to be about a bunch of people from various continents going to 19th century America to engage in some wacky races or something

I watched Darwin's Game ep 1 and I will admit that I have been looking for something like that for a minute.
But I was kind of rolling my eyes that the whole "yandere who is obsessed with the protagionist after their first meeting" deal.

I'm sad that this pandemic has seemingly obliterated the shirobako movie box office. Cannot help getting an english translation into my face asap, which is one of the only things keeping me going right now hah.

I already read/watched Mirai Nikki.
It’s almost refreshing that Darwin’s game is NOT Mirai’s Nikki, and that Yandere love interest is like “ Hey I want THAT no strings” and the protagonist is like “....yeah okay!” and that’s that.
I say almost because UGH.
But yeah, Darwin’s game is basically “ What if death game anime didn’t crawl up it’s own butt with convoluted bullshit twists.”
It’s popcorn, and yes those kernels still suck.

Quarantine is leading to me crushing my backlog of unwatched anime.
Anyone familiar with GEN:Lock? A rooster teeth show on Crunchyroll. I really dig RWBY.
Aqua does stuff all the time. It's just that most of the time it makes the situation worse!
Don't call her useless! She's actively unhelpful!

That's not fair. All four can't stop causing problems, and rarely have anything to do with the solutions, except in spite of their best efforts.

Darkness doesn't cause any problems unless you are Kazuma and Megumin is actually a boon on the local economy by providing a steady stream of work for day labors.

Mother's Basement did a good overview:

Kind of like how Umineko fans refer to it as Seacats. Actually, I guess that's not the same...

Ugh, I am apprehensive. Just go on break like MHA does for half the year.
Even if it's canon, nothing can advance the story or character arcs. It'll be every character saying their stock phrases and nothing else.
*yoink-o*
Half of season 2 in the Fall, side story in Winter, rest of season 2 in Spring.
That's a lot of Slime!

I like how one of them is just the actual guy because he’s such a joke
That isn't what Mirai Nikki is at all tho.
It's something much, much dumber.

In naruto did a bad guy graft the eyes of Sasuke's clan onto his body?
Austin Walker thought very highly of it. It's been on my to watch list for a while, but haven't gotten to it yet.
Yes, that would be Danzo.
Also just everyone ragging on Aqua, it's wonderful.
I didn't know Ishtar had a cameo
like she's aqua tier
To be fair, Ristarte is able to do plenty if not for the fact that the hero is so far beyond her.
Aqua is able to do plenty beyond anyone else in Kazuma's party...but just doesn't because she's an airhead.
Don't call her useless! She's actively unhelpful!

Basically every major problem they have is either caused, fixed, or both by Aqua.
