Yeah I'd gladly gift my account to someone if it wasn't also my Overwatch, and Diablo, and World of Warcraft login =/
God Reno is so dumb. And I say that as the guy using the card against people.

holy fuck that was the most annoying game of my entire life
galakrond priest (me) vs what looked like 'puzzle box x2 and autofill' mage
we both got our early power cards (my galakrond, his reno hero)
he cast puzzle box FIVE TIMES in the game (twice naturally, three times from reno start of turn casino)
his boxes were mostly astoundingly fucking good but inevitably he started overdrawing
toward the end he fucking lucksacked into an 8x held togwaggle's scheme on my sethekk veilweaver and his hand was just endless priest spells from that point on
eventually it came down to me fatiguing him after he'd stuffed his deck with a million random fucking bollocks spells and minions and kept pulling clutch spells out of his fucking arse with reno
i hate mage so much

Demon Hunter seems like it’s minions should all have relatively low health. Like an inverse priest. All aggression but a paper tiger.
Lower health would go a long way at increasing counterplay. I posted about it briefly before, but Priestess having 7 health is fucking insanity. Most classes cannot cleanly deal with that! Priest has SW:D and Time Rip, Highlander decks have Zeph, but otherwise....? Hope some minions lived from the pings and trade in and lose board anyway. Jesus.
Antaen isn't seeing play anymore but even that card is still good and it's still a 10/6 that does 10 pings and it's fucking nutty but people stopped playing it. I slapped it into my deck as a one-of just cause I really wasn't feeling Ooze (maybe Maiev is better, but, meh) and having three targets for Raging Felscreamer plays a bit better, and like. It's still fucking crazy. It's slow! It's a slow fucking card. But it's still crazy. Antaen still wins games on the fucking spot.
I still think Glaivebound is a Bit Much as well. That card really needs to be a 5/4, minimum.
Battlefiend feels fine now. Congrats Team 5!
Altruis still needs to not hit face!!! This is an easy one!!!!!!!
Stats aside I also saw a post on Reddit saying that Twin Slice is a bit of a problem, I might agree with that. Should it cost 1? Hmm.
I had a fantastic game this morning as Highlander Priest (+Gal, but without any invokes) against Quest Shaman.
I had some really good turns, saved board clears for when they'd be most useful, made him make some unfavorable trades. Pretty sure I misplayed a couple of times (especially with a couple random disconnects), but made it to the end game for what I think is one of my favorite Heartstone moments ever.
He'd dropped a handful of Lackeys previously that I hadn't cleared yet, then Barista Lynchen, then more lackeys, and had a huge wide board - and he'd dropped a bunch of the Titanic Lackeys on the Barista, setting up a great wall that I couldn't immediately get through, and I'm pretty sure he had a Bloodlust or something to maximize his full board.
I looked at my hand, looked again, and realized that I had to make a move that was probably going to lose me the game, but it was so perfect I had to do it.
Play Grizzled Wizard to steal his Hero Power.
Use Heart of Vir'naal.
Play Zephyrus so I could WISH FOR MORE WISHES!
Zephyrus appeared to be working correctly, because he gave me Holy Nova in my first set, which was enough (+the couple minions I had on-board) to wipe his side; I grabbed Natalie Seline from the second set of choices (not sure why she was offered in both sets?), but he conceded on his next turn after attempting to grab a useful Priest minion from my Gal hero power.
Other fun things in other games include using Dreams from Ysera to pick up and play Kronx multiple times and using an Envoy of Lazul to grab an EVIL Totem and then turning a Lackey into a 7/7 with a Dragonmaw Oveseer.
Just won with it again against Highlander Quest Shaman.
Started off with Madame Lazul offering me my choice of Questing Adventurer, 2/1 +Lackey Murloc, or Zephyrus. So I took Zeph.
Then on my next turn I played Envoy of Lazul, and had to guess which of random lackey, [card], or Zeph was in my opponent’s hand.
He used Heart to drop Zeph and got Tyrion (ran into a SW:Death) and Natalie. He used Natalie to eat my end-of-turn Dragon generator. So on my next turn, I played my first Zeph, took Natalie, and she ate his.
Finished the game by playing Zeph 2 (still hadn’t drawn my own yet), grabbing the DH +8 attack spell, and also hitting him with my 4 attack minion for lethal. Had 2 Dreams in-hand from an earlier Ysera (discounted thanks to a Thoughtstolen Kindleroot) in the event I needed EVEN MORE WISHES.
Twin Slice is powerful but specific enough that I'm okay with it being powerful. In fact broadly speaking I'd say that I'd like more cards like Twin Slice that are focused on the Demon Hunter as an "attacker" than cards like Priestess or Antaen that are focused on the Demon Hunter as "shits out a bunch of damage without attacking"

second slice should definitely cost 1 or vice versa
i have been playing a galakrond priest designed EXCLUSIVELY to counter aggro dh with that kobold stickyfinger, almost every card is a taunt heal or removal
and i STILL drop games to them because they draw their entire fucking deck before i'm halfway through mine
basically, i started off today rocking Galakrond Rogue, but was running into mirrors and DHs smacking me, and then i remembered the wise words of Great Sage Day9
so i did that and i swapped to DH and i just fucking killed people
mirrors? killed them faster and harder than they could kill me. cheeky slow decks trying to be greedy or pull off some cheeky combo? fucking kill them before they can even think about setting it up.
my legend final boss was a fucking unicorn in the wild, a goddamn Galakrond Warlock. a fucking Galakrond Warlock.
I DID IT. NEVER HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN. after bouncing up and down and up and down from D1 to D4 i finally fucking got it. my nerves are fucking shot now. in the meantime i'll be waiting on that Battlegrounds patch to shake things up, and another inevitable balance patch for Standard. this meta isn't particularly healthy or fun!! there's just DHs and Rogues everywhere! mostly DHs!!
I don't see a hogger. You never know if he'll pop on in them.
I've dusted hogger twice.
Ohhhh shit!
I can retire now. It’ll never get any better than this.

i am trying out kobold stickyfinger in rogue and so far i've taken a full charge warglaives of azzinoth from a greedy dh and a 2 charge ashbringer from a rogue who kept bouncing zeph for tirions
Finished the climb to new, grindier dad legend with a brief Face Hunter streak. It was fun smashing some Rogue and DH faces faster than they smashed mine. I had to play one more game after hitting 5 for a quest and got put against play first perfect curve nut draw DH who smoked me. I guess just to remind me how miserable trying to gain any more ranks past D5 is.
Every time, I’ve then dropped down to rank 5 again.
It doesn’t so much feel like every game is a coin flip as it does feel like I keep getting put against people of exactly my own skill level, putting me on course for a 50% win rate.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.

This is literally what happened with me several times over and exactly how I felt too
Anyway since I actually hit Legend I no longer need to tryhard now and I can just play Fun Decks instead. I tried out a few today, Galakrond Priest and Highlander Priest.
Galakrond Priest is interesting. It feels a lot like Res Priest but minus the threats? Very attrition/value heavy. Games can often run to fatigue. The mirror is dumb as hell. I had one that lasted 22 minutes and went on for 26 turns! That's a lot. But it's an interesting deck. Jam Invokes get value (or minus value sometimes hmmmmmm), slam Galakrond keep getting value.
The more fun Priest deck I played though was Highlander Priest! This one gets to run some Dragons and shit, lots of Good Cards like Aeon Reaver etc. More about playing minions and controlling the board. Galakrond is pretty key for this deck since you can run out of steam and need that value engine. No Invokes, just Galakrond. Fun deck! You even get to run Murozond which is a fuckin' hoot of a card. I don't have Lazul so I just replaced her with Thoughsteal (which at 2 mana turns out is preeeeeetty good).
I only ran into two Demon Hunters today. TWO! That's crazy. Also my Legend MMR is Trash Legend so I was running up against like Diamond 5s and Diamond 8s and stuff, haha.
It's cool that I can just play whatever the fuck decks now and NOT WORRY about climbing or rating or rank or anything.

Ended up with a pretty unorthodox Divine Shield comp in Battlegrounds today (well, started, I eventually found the rest of the pieces). I had a Triple Selfless and two Bolvars and I eventually found a Rivendare but no Drakonid Enforcers or anything, so.... it was just Divine Shields for everyone!! And it cruised me on up to Top 4 easily, wherein I then found double Mackerels and double Enforcers (and pitched the Selfless/Rivendare at that point) and got to top 2 with 30 health, but.... I lost to someone going a Brann build. So he had two giant-ass fuckin' poisonous/divine shield murlocs and two giant fucking Battlemasters and I just didn't have enough damage to get everything. Came close a few times with double Mackerel, but alas.

If that turned out to be true, half your opponents would concede the minute the game starts and that's no fun.
Zeph offered him to me and I was about to take Holy Nova but realized Geddon could just win me the game
And he did
IN HE GOES
Also sidenote, the meta at Legend is SO much more interesting than the normal ladder meta. Was running into all kinds of varied decks!
