First one is amazing as long as you fight absolutely everything that you can and don't let yourself get underleveled, the second one is a good bit harder in places but still a good time.
ABZU!@#)(*&@^) is free at EGS (it was previously offered free), along with Zavian 's favorite game: Rising Storm: 'Nam
it's not my fav game (thats a tie between Majora's Mask and Super Metroid), but I DO love Rising Storm 2 Vietnam! It's a squad focused battlefield game that has different combat, pilot and command roles (Commander who leads each side, calls in air support and recon at radios, Squad Leaders who act as spawn points issuing squad orders and marking map targets for the Commander, and Radioman who acts as a mobile radio for Commander to call in strikes and recon). There's limited slots for specialist roles, and I usually stick with being a Grunt, but there's a lot to dive into and when youre playing with a team that has skilled specialists flying around in helicopters, ordering air strikes and communicating with you and your squad over radio (voice chat) it's very immersive. I had a lot of fun at launch, havent played much since as server pops had been low, but since it's free on EGS there's TONS of new players currently which means a lot of servers that aren't full of highly skilled veterans so it's a much more even playing field now that's in been since launch.
TLDR: yes rising storm 2 vietnams is pretty fun and well worth the price of FREE
Okay fine I'll reinstall.
So I played this a bit last night and its pretty fun. There seems to be a fair number of new players as I killed a decent number of level 0-5 people (levels provide cosmetic choices but no real upgrades, I think using weapons provides unlocks though?), but for anyone interested its definitely one of those games where you're going to die a lot. A. LOT. While you can go on a Rambo rampage, you'll most likely die shortly thereafter.
If anyone is even slightly interested in picking it up you cant beat free! (I dont know how EGS works)
EDIT: I feel I'm pretty decent and my KDR is like .75, but this isnt really a game where you should focus on that. I think its at its best when you have a commander that communicates and squad leaders that support them by marking locations, its at its worst (although still enjoyable) when you're just running around solo with little to no support from teammates. There will be times when your team just gets stomped and you just die an endless series of deaths, but that shouldnt happen too too often.
Star Trader: Frontiers is pretty neat. It's along the lines of Privateer or Pirates! but an RPG with a ship crew that levels up individually. The only thing I felt was missing is other ships going about their own thing: they're all just random encounters or scripted encounters so it's much more RPG than simulation.
At some point, how do you even separate the wheat from the chaff? It's like the entirety of steam but for one person, one gem surrounded by questionable quality and porn.
I submit for the thread the following evidence that @Isorn is not as innocent as claimed. Behold : Gnomes Garden, and a claim that a mistake was made in addition!
I'm wrapping up Head Start for Hawkins and will probably done by the weekend. But I'm curious to know if my posts about Motorsport Manager are welcomed. If I'm not boring anybody with it. Because I was thinking about some Career updates once I finish with the challenges.

I'm currently playing both Vampyr and Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night. This is probably the only year I'm on theme for Halloween!

Except for that rule I guess I made that one but I'm still not going to take responsibility, it's definitely someone else's fault.
...man, unless you like fish sticks or fried shrimp, you just can't get good seafood out in the middle of the sticks here in Michigan...
