Also I'm pretty sure Abel is gay IIRC, but this fits the 40s aesthetic I suppose.

I mean if you want to get real the smartest play is a 2.5% employee/7.5% employer deposit of your monthly salary directly into an all-stocks short term investment fund overseen by a specialized asset management firm
in a non covid year those babies go up by 18-23 percent per annum, that's a lot of dosh over a relatively quick timeframe
if you hate to see the numbers go down just stick to government bonds and that's a steady 2-3 percent increase come hell or high water
but dont buy individual stocks yourselves, that's a mugs game and as soon as the piggy bank breaks a lot of people usually get left with a bunch of nothing
I have no idea what you just said but I assume it to be foul magicks for which you must be burned at the stake

I trained to be a binary options broker for two weeks before it skeeved me out too much
but I did manage to glean two things: the stock market is just gambling and you dont want to walk in and place all your money on 21 red just because someone else you heard of hit it big doing that

I was gonna make a joke about the partly hidden name of the circus ("Is it Mank Chester? Wank Chester?! Stank Chester???") But turns out John has already revealed it in the posters earlier (Frank Chester)
I refuse to believe he didnt have a notebook full of characters ready to go
At GenCon in 2019 I got to meet JJ. I asked him to just draw any random robot because they are my favorite characters in his strip. He drew me a random character that hasn't appeared in the strip as far as I know, so he just...had it in his mind ready to go.
That being said I do think he needs to stop adding more characters, because I feel like we have too many already to tell focused stories about them, but hey its his comic strip, I'm just here for the ride.

a company that doesn't want to pay the overhead it might have to on lower contributions to other investment/pension plans
it might be different in the US, but locally that's just a net sum

it’s a small thread, i won’t link all them here but it’s a good read

For example, my company will match 60% of what I put in for the first 6% I put in.
