Every time someone says 'uncanny valley' I start to twitch with rage
Why?
Because it's the most overused term ever. People will apply it to anything and everything as a way of saying that something doesn't look realistic, rather than applying it in the situation it's supposed to be used: a near-human form that evokes feelings of strong repulsion.
I've seen the term 'uncanny valley' applied to screenshots of GT5 and renders of landscapes. It's retarded.
There might have been valleys in those landscapes though! Uncanny ones!
I re-watched the trilogy the past couple of nights. The original still holds up well, and the sequels are pretty convoluted and have lots of filler but they really aren't as terrible as people sometimes make them out to be. At the very least they have some well done action sequences (minus the agent smith fights).

I wanted a cadillac CTS so much after the second movie

Ugh, went on for too long, and had some silly bits like Morpheus' breakdance truck fighting, and Morpheus' seatbelt backseat knife fighting with a ghost. One of those things where they just throw so much over-the-top stuff into it that the suspense is completely lost.

Which are themselves prequels to Battlestar Galactica.
Chateau fight scene - what else?
The efforts put forth during production to make it happen, however, was pretty damn cool.
