The Matrix was totally the first R rated movie my parents let me watch. I think I was like seven or eight.

    me too, fandy

    me too

though I think I was probably younger

    8-)

    Rep

That scene with the gutspider vacuuming was pretty hard for eight year old me to watch

you were 8 when that movie came out? Damn that makes me feel old a little bit.

it looks like I was 5 when it came out

but I saw it on dvd some years later

also yeah that belly spider scene was gross as hell then

    dammit are you thirteen

    It came out in 1999.
So he would be 14 now.

it came out in 1999 before my birthday that year

    so I was right

I could have sworn you were a girl.

    Sorry, guy.

    uh that's okay but

what in that quote tree told you I was a guy

Several people referring to you as "he." You replying and not saying anything.

    oh, okay

They still can't get the teeth-lip thing right in computer animation.

The lips don't slide over the teeth like they should.

If you go onto the actual youtube site and watch it in high quality you can pretty much tell instantly. The colour of the face doesn't match the rest of the skin tone at all.

    guys

They only pasted a CGI face on top of a real actor. The actual head, body, hair and hands and movements are not computer generated

Which kind of makes it less impressive

actually I think they used similiar techniques for the matrix movies

    but kind of reversed

they used real imagery of Hugo Weaving and pasted it ontop of computer models. Too bad they couldn't do a better job of making those models move more realistically

Once you're looking for it, it's much easier to spot. Originally I thought they had done the entire scene, which impressed me quite a bit more.

This, however is something I could actually use:

Shame the guy's voice sounds like that though

"Uncanny Valley" is a slang term for vaginas, the only enemy that can stand against him.

Because it's the most overused term ever. People will apply it to anything and everything as a way of saying that something doesn't look realistic, rather than applying it in the situation it's supposed to be used: a near-human form that evokes feelings of strong repulsion.

I've seen the term 'uncanny valley' applied to screenshots of GT5 and renders of landscapes. It's retarded.
