I already mentioned that I've been collection hats, ties, and sweater vests. I also enjoy suits and button up shirts! Also I have these handy dandy wishlists below. Also here are some nerdy shirt ideas:
My wishlist has a lot of non-fiction books as you can see (Military history, current events, politics, countries, conflicts). Currently on an Afghanistan/Chechnya/Ireland/Iraq/Lebanon kick in terms of conflict reading. I don't mind fiction books at all! Sci-fi, Mystery/Detective novels are cool and beyond that any other types of fiction you'd think I'd like!
I love movies and do own a bluray player if that means anything to you. Documentaries, Dramas, Foreign films, Thrillers, Action, Black Comedies, Animated films like The Secret of Kells, Waltz with Bashir (own this), or Persepolis.
I own a PC, 360, and DS. Mainly play 360 and PC. Also own a zune.
You can contact George Fornby Grill (Crawford), MrMonroe, and Pipthefair for more ideas!
Hope I don't give you too much trouble in picking out gifts, cheers.
Oh yeah, Waltz with Bashir is quite awesome.
That's definitely one way to describe it. Another is soul crushing.
It's both, really. Just at different times.
Children of Men was similar to that, with one exception: I will never willingly watch CoM again. just a little too soul crushing, for my tastes.
Dang. Why do I always order Satans gifts from places that don't allow for notes in the delivery instructions?
I placed my order for what I at least thought was a cool gift based off my satanee's posts, I'll just have to watch this thread for the next few days and pipe up when they post.

The one about the fucking space hairdresser and the cowboy. He's got a tinfoil pal and a pedal bin
I kinda wish my Satanee would add a wishlist or post something a little more useful for guidance. They've been incredibly vague, and even though I know them, the kind of stuff I know them best for is stuff I'm not at all into and wouldn't have a fucking clue about buying. So unless they step up to the plate and give some useful guidance, I'll just have to wing it.

Despite having a wishlist I'm still pretty unsure of what to purchase/make/puke up for my satanee. Luckily I don't plan on sending anything out until Christmas time.

I just ordered my gifts and I should have them in a week or so, leaving me a comfortable amount of time to wrap them appropriately and ship them out
One of the interesting things about carnivorous plants (to me) is that they're actually a pretty diverse group and not closely related, so depending on the species the growing conditions needed can vary widely. For example, north american pitcher plants (Sarracenia) are very different from tropical pitchers like Nepenthes. Sarracenia are great for growing outdoors in much of temperate north america and can withstand frost, whereas Nepenthes would generally be an indoor plant throughout much of the U.S. because they're tropical plants and most can't handle frost.
They also have a wide range of adaptations for trapping or exploiting prey (with some plants being negligibly carnivorous because they don't actually trap their own prey). Also people tend to speak of them "eating" insects, but they don't consume them for energy. They get ample energy from sunlight. They trap prey for nitrogen and phosphorous as an adaptation for living in soils that are poor in such nutrients (such as bogs). As a result, most carnivorous plants have root systems that will actually be damaged by nutrient rich soil that would benefit most plants.
They're a diverse and interesting group of plants! I don't currently have any at all because we just moved from an apartment that got almost no sunlight, but the new place has plenty of windows with western exposure as well as a nice garden window! So definitely going to be growing some, as well as some herbs. When I was living up on Capitol Hill, I had a nepenthes and several cape sundews.
the Satan picture for this year creeps me the fuck out
is it just me or have I seen that somewhere before?
you have not, i drew it from my head in about 40 minutes
and, thank you for it creeping you out! that's what i was going for! my other satans have been so .. cartoony and huggable.
also now that druhim has said that thing about his satanee being to vague, i'm worried that my wishlist is too vague i guess "art stuff" is kind of a shot in the dark for some. i guess i should update that or .. or something.

I have HUGE window sills. We're talking 3'+ in both depth and width. Could get something pretty great going on in there. Problem? Cats.
Little bastards would surely have a field day with the stuff.
95% of my time play'n vidja games is on my computer, and this might give you some ideas.
solution:
(j/k, I totally dig cats and we'll probably be getting one in a few months)
They are a lot more expensive here though by the looks of things, they seem to go for 35 bucks a plant.
