I really like Wolverine and the X-Men but I am like a year behind or something now. I should re-up my marvel unlimited and at least read a few months closer. I think the last I read was April last year?

Aaron jumped off the book and it relaunched and was terrible, so don't bother reading past his issues.

    Good to know.

I really enjoyed the Hellfire arc they did in that series.

Also that side of the mutant stuff has been more fun. Between Wolverine and the X-Men and All New X-Men I have read a lot of mutant stuff this year.

Once again, it likely confuses cause and effect. The constants of the universe indeed allow the existence of life as we know it. However, it is much more likely that life is tuned to the universe rather than the other way around. We survive on Earth in part because Earth’s gravity keeps us from floating off. But the strength of gravity selects a planet like Earth, among the variety of planets, to be habitable for life forms like us. Reversing the sense of cause and effect in this statement, as Metaxas does in cosmology, is like saying that it’s a miracle that everyone’s legs are exactly long enough to reach the ground.

After catching up on All New X-Men and X-Men a few months ago, I think it's funny they're going back to the whole "feared and hunted" version of the mutant population again.

Though who knows how it will turn out now that Marvel's doing a bit of Crisis on Finite Secret Wars.

    Marvel pls

X-Statix was basically based around the idea of making fun of reality TV. Doop's role on the team was basically camera man for their reality TV show.

I actually don't mind the current version of Cyc.

He still has his backbone thanks to his time sleeping with Emma. He isn't full on genocidal like he was with the Phoenix Force. And the one Wolverine and the X-Men where it was him and Logan killing Sentinals was pretty damn funny. Giving each other shit while doing it.

Are you reading X-Statix summaries? That book was amazing, way back when Marvel had their creative second wind after bankruptcy.

X-Statix was one of those books that was weird for the sake of being weird. Though I heard it was an interesting read. Wasn't that right around the time they dropped the Comics Code? A lot of folks went hog wild when that happened.

You're probably right. I haven't read it. Just read alot about it and it comes off really weird without context. The first time I ever heard of it was when they introduced the X-Statix team as part of the VS. CCG. I remember thinking, is this a joke right?

Here's two REAL examples of heroic Dumb Courage. I mean anyone can sacrifice themselves to save others and turn the tide of war, but I defy anyone to display the kind of courage needed to attempt the following:

    1) Playing through Silent Hill 2 without saving your game.

    2) Going for a No Death/No Bonfire run in Dark Souls 2.

As Max and Harper have gone deeper into their online sexual exploration, they have learned that sex is no longer a thing either of them could define. “I know intercourse is definable as a thing but I don’t, like, believe in ‘sex’,” said Max. “I don’t think I could point to it, I couldn’t tell you what it is, because for some people, completely-clothed-just-pulling-at-your-nostrils-at-a-camera is sex, it’s a massive turn-on.”
