I'll look into it. Though I still remember the "prime time" premier of Zeo (5/6pm instead of 3) and the first transformation taking like the same length of time of the old Megazord, then the other animals joined in and me and my cousin squee'd "THAT WAS ONLY THE FIRST ONE!?!?!"
We grew up with a lot of the toys from our grandmother before they were ever a thing in the states (she's Japanese and her brother would send us stuff like that and Macross veritechs, and she would buy use the candies/toys from the Asian markets).
Here's the link to the post I put in a few pages back with the second video showing off the Go-Busters' zords coming together for the first time in episode 6. Zeo had some good stuff though admittedly I liked the Turbo-Zords more.
I like to think it holds up, but I am hugely biased since I love it so much.
I watched the first 2 seasons so much but never saw the last one until much later because it... wasn't aired outside canada? Or something? I can't remember?
Also I am considering rewatching Dino Thunder after RPM, that was a great season
Reboot holds up if you revisited it at least somewhat regularly since it's heyday, but if you haven't seen it since then, it can be a little jarring visually ( you get over that tho)
I never got the complaint on Reboot's visuals, at least in terms of people thinking Beast Wars looked better. I thought it looked like a good representation of what Windows 95 and whatever Mac version was out at the time if they were cities. As long as I continue to view it that way, the look never bothers me.
There I was, 3DS: 2621-2671-9899 (Ekera), Wii U: LostCrescendo

The visuals never did bother me, I always rather liked them. But these days, watching it on my huge flatscreen, my brain notes that they don't scale well to bigger t.v.'s After severals minutes though, I don't notice it all that much.

Reboot and Beast Wars are still watchable. Mostly.
As long as you like the style of it, it's okay. The writing is good enough to hold it up, but the animation looks like junk nowadays, especially the first season of Beast Wars.

The worst part of beast wars now for me is the ground textures

it looks like coreldraw or something
I've done similar going from Clone Wars season 1 to season 3, just the huge jump in background texture definitions and lighting.
Anyway, what can be considered "So 90s it hurts"? I mean, for the 80s we got neon colored clothes, skateboards, and some harsh language/slang, but generally we know it when we see it.
There doesn't seem a hard turn for 90s -> 00s like there does for 80s -> 90s.

Toys. The 90s was all about toys and coming out with toy lines and throwing literally whatever at the wall and marketing the hell out of whatever sticks. There was all kind of bizarre shit but anything with legs had a toy line.

Nah that's it
You mentioned a criminal and I misread and thought that someone on the cast was like, actively involved in crime during filming
My brain filled in a lot of gaps that weren't actually there

Don't you just have to draw one and then just use the Fill Tool to change their colors?
I loved that show and the toys were great.
We talked about the toys, they were great.
I wish the megazord toys didn't suck now

I don't think we had any exo-squad toys but I remember playing with them at other people's houses/watching the show
Guess what, it's re-purposed from the unsold warehouse of leftover this!

It must have been kind of awful considering how season 2 ended. :P

The 90s was a couple phases I think
Grunge is super 90s
and then late 90s early 2000s is pop-punk
RPM
