Okay, I am seriously starting to think that there is something wrong with my game copy. Am I seriously supposed to be in pitch black darkness the entire game? It is distracting me from the experience rather than enhancing it. I mean, I put the brightness up all the way and this is still a problem.
So you did the in game brightness to full?
Yeah your copy has some extra darkness code in it.
i am finding the rivet gun to be extremely weak and largely useless
i sold all the ammo, tossed it in the safe, and took a javelin gun instead
electrifying a dude after you impale him is really cool.

"Help! Help me!"

So any news on how the hell you get the bonus content in DS2 that the iPhone version says you've unlocked?
If you're lying imma slice a bitch. Plasma Cutter was my go to weapon, followed by the Flame Thrower for swarms, and the Pulse Rifle for bosses.
You'd think the flamethrower would be the awesomest thing ever, but I never found it to be very effective. The pulse rifle, however, once you upgrade the damage a bit, that's some pinpoint killing right there.

"Why do you carry a .45 ?"
"Because they don't make a .46."
Old flamethrower or new one
I hear the new one is something you may actually want to use sometimes

Did y'all catch the newspaper with the "unemployment on Titan unexpectedly reached 9.5%" article ? Got a Tea Partier working on the story, yeah baby.

Old. I was kinda hoping that they hadn't upgraded it in DS2, cuz now I may be forced to buy it. Sigh. So much for managing my ammo effectively, I'm a sucker for a good flamethrower.

If I didn't want to get the Plasma Cutter and Line Gun upgraded to max right away I'd probably upgrade the Javelin ASAP. Does a ton of damage and its alt fire is great. Ammo only stacks Ten high but I can see at max damage this would drop a single Necro in a single shot and the alt fire can drop a crowd.
And of course I got the Detonator and the Seeker rifle schematics ~.~
I need a bigger inventory man. So many toys to play with.

Got through Chapter 4. Yup, it's more Dead Space (which is a very good thing!) Feels a little more linear this time, and the pace feels a lot faster than the first one. This makes the action better and more intense, but it's not as good as Dead Space 1 at creating a creepy/scary atmosphere. At least so far.
Will be interested in doing MP when I'm through with the Story. PSN is Carb0nFire.
So far as I can tell there's no fucking point in upgrading your HP on Zealot
I only have the first node in there but everything is still one- or two-shotting me
Also, the first fight of chapter six is complete and utter bullshit, I spent about an hour dying to it repeatedly until I ragequit and smoked a couple cigarettes
So utterly goddamn retarded that the shop is after the fight. I just got done running the gauntlet in the temple and killing off the fucking Brute, how much ammo do you think I have?
How long before someone makes the Isaac Clarke "I'm an engineer, I can fix that" rap song? If no one else does it I will.
And I'm on Chapter 8, survivalist gets more brutal as I get further into the game. Zealot must be a real bitch.

I'm starting to notice this game really wants you to not use your weapon on all 100% of the Necro's HP. They want you to rip an arm off and pin bitches to the wall. Also there is plenty of spears or stakes around to toss around. Upgrade your rig to boost your Kinesis and start wrecking shit.
Went through Dead Space 1 on normal and doing DS2 on survivalist. I quite like the level of difficulty. Enough to keep me on my toes and kill me a few times but beatable.
I liked in chapter 1:
Isaac, you've got to cut off their limbs.
Yeah, I know. I've had a lot of practice.
Also quite like the detonator. It's like the trap nails in Bioshock 2 but with a hell of a kick. And the contact grenade properties aren't bad either.
As for the game overall: awesomeness.

Chapter 4-5'ish
Happened. Shit got a little hectic then.
Multiplayer is chaotic but fun, I'm excited for when we can get a group together here.
I decided I'm doing a plasma cutter only zealot run for my first time.

this is oodles of fun.
I was just about to post this very thing. This game is friggin awesome.
Daina: Isaac, I don't think I can-
Isaac: NOT NOW
Hah, that's my favorite line so far, because it was exactly what I said out loud.
