Watching Lost last night, someone called Jack, Sheperd in the middle of the show. It was a weird moment, since Sheperd, to me, is a space-cruising bad ass that is either incredibly kind and merciful or a total bastard to anyone in her way.

Dr. Jack of Lost in space. I wonder if I can make his face into the ME2 face generator?

Something of a omission in a N7 quest:
You have to recover that Cerberus operative from the mercenaries. Turns out he's dead so you have to recover his data. And then you get the choice to send it back to Cerberus or slip it to the Alliance. I did the latter. Got a very nice email from the Alliance for it. However no response from Cerberus. Shouldn't they be pissed off with me?

Addendum: Screw you EDI, I'll probe Uranus if I damn well want to.
Reading the descriptions they give you when it's time to pick dudes, Legion is as intelligent as all geth, a dude who's got the collected knowledge of an entire race for as long as they've existed. Also, there was some hubbub about "Oh no! He could hack our ship if you turn him back on!"

10 to 1 it's a full armor set. I'd love it to be modular, but I'm guessing not. Which means I'll never use it, because I hate walking around with a helmet on when I don't need to.

Bioware, if you're watching, let us take the helmets off at least. Then I'd be more inclined to use the Terminus or Blood Dragon armor. As it is, though, my N7 is pretty bad-ass in Carbon Grey (the default) with White details, and the Stripe Pattern in Orange.

For the final mission I did the following:
Jacob led the second squad both times
    Tali went into the vent
Legion took the survivors back to the Normandy
Jack provided the swarm barrier while I had Grunt and Samara fighting alongside
Grunt and Jack were my squad - Shockwave provided awesome AOE and crowd clearing while Grunt just charged anyone who got in close. I used Reave and incendiary ammo to take care of Harbinger any time he assumed control.

I had everybody's upgrade recommendations. All of the ship upgrades as well as the weapon upgrades requested by Legion and Grunt. I never got to see Legion's badass sniper rifle in action, though.

    Everyone made it back alive.

I did find that to be an odd omission, considering it was in the first game.

    My final mission:
    Full loyalty, all upgrades

Sent Thane in as the tech guy, died. Reloaded and chose Tali instead, survived.

Garrus as second team leader, both times, survived.

    Jack as biotic, survived.

    Zaeed as escort, survived.

So I originally got one death, but I didn't think it through that much. I figured it was like a "this team member will most likely die" choice, like in the first game.

I took the Sniper. I have not been disappointed with this choice. It's the Viper, which I guess isn't the OMG BOOM HEADSHOT sniper, but rather the weaker semi-auto, but I've already gotten plenty of use from it. The only thing I don't like is that I "scope" whenever I use a power from cover.

I think not having a helmet should confer something though. Maybe 3% accuracy due to not having to look through the helmet visor, or 3% storm speed because you're lighter. If they're not gonna let you toggle, it shouldn't be entirely worthless.

I beat this game last week. 37hrs and it was a blast. I visited EVERY planet, got every weapon / armor upgrade,
    and saved my whole crew
    .

The one thing I wasn't too thrilled about was the lack of armor / weapons. Did I miss something? I only had like 3 of each weapon type (except heavy weapons), and minimal armor choices.

I wish there would be an option to sell resources for credits, I know there was a couple things I left in shops due to lack of credits.

You have time for one mission after everyone is kidnapped. That mission should be Legion's loyalty mission. Do everything else you want to do before the IFF.

Yeah My perception is a little screwed on this. I did absolutely everything, sans Legions' loyalty, before getting the IFF (you can't even do Legion Loyalty quest before you get the IFF anyway). EDI kept telling me she needed to test the new IFF, so I went off and did his mission. When I came back and tried to go somewhere else, bam. Collector attack on the Normandy.

When I went to the galaxy map, EDI said to use the shuttle for the next mission, which normally should lead to your crew being abducted. Except it let me go to the normal galaxy map instead and run Legion's mission.. then next time I tried to use the map, the crew got abducted.

I just really wish it gave more time to do other stuff with Legion, like take him to the Citedal or the Flotilla. The way it's set up now makes it impossible to do so without getting your crew killed.

Don't dick around. Once they get captured, head right through the Omega 4 Relay. And yes, I can never let that happen to Kelly.
You have time left for 1 more loyalty mission basically. (Maybe a 1 more side beyond that...but not much else.) It's kinda set up so you can do Legions Loyalty before the endgame.
When I went to the galaxy map, EDI said to use the shuttle for the next mission, which normally should lead to your crew being abducted. Except it let me go to the normal galaxy map instead and run Legion's mission.. then next time I tried to use the map, the crew got abducted.

imho Kelly was a throw away character that will have little to no importance in 3 if you do manage to save her. Do what you need to do: side quests, loyalty missions, anomally's and dont worry so much about it :). personally I think it makes the game that much more powerful if its Kelly that is harvested instead of some random person with no meaning to you. Makes the first scene back in the empty ship that much more powerfull.
