In the comic books, and in Evolution, he was best buddies with Kitty.
It's a little creepy.
It's kind of a genre trope.
Pairing the gruff callous antihero with the somewhat vulnerable character who looks up to them and brings out their humanity.
I mean in the comics once Kitty got too old/self-reliant as a character for that vibe to work anymore, they created Jubilee pretty much explicitly to fill that role.
It is not normal to be a genius in computer tech and also fluent in several languages and also a hot shot pilot and also an amazing ballerina (of all fucking things).
On top of having mutant phasing powers and ninja abilities from a demon.
I actually really like kitty's powers. They make her a great defensive asset to a team, as well as a great stealth person. You don't need to also say "oh and by the way she is totally a ninja too and also a wonderful dancer" to make her intersting. Her being almost completely non combat oriented is what makes her interesting.
I thought the vampire thing happened like last year sometime
it ain't any worst than what she was doing before anyway, which was being powerless, having huge boobs for some reason and being a tech based superhero in that short lived New Warriors series.
The last thing I remember seeing of Jubes is her hanging out in San Fran like this winter deciding whether or not to visit the island, and deciding not to, iirc
Nah that just happened in X-Men #1. The first part of a X-Men/Vampire crossover. Some kind of engineered vampire virus. Guy explodes and lets it loose. Jubilee is caught in it. She was starting to exhibit signs of Vampirism not long after being treated by the science club.

anyone who is hating on the demon ninja stuff should read that story cause it is seriously so good.

man her buddy buddyness with Wolverine is one of the better things about her!
it's all a conspiracy, bale
Didn't know she had anything else besides phasing though.
What spring does with the cherry trees.
AWFUL

Right up there with Cyke's interrogation scene and the fastball special at the end of the first arc.

Kitty isn't as lame as you people are making her out to be.
but it's still there
you can't rid me of it
No but he's in Avengers #3.
You say that like there's a chance that he isn't in it.
Stolen from GV.
Surprised to hear that Red Hulk is joining the Avengers. The comic book version that is.
Was happy to hear about the Batman: Year One and All-Star Superman movies.
this is an absolute fact
Ahahahahaha this is fantastic
tlb I really like superman so I don't think this really works as an insult at all
Wait, she's a vampire now?
Man, I stopped having time for comics a few months ago and now I'm never going to catch up
it ain't any worst than what she was doing before anyway, which was being powerless, having huge boobs for some reason and being a tech based superhero in that short lived New Warriors series.
She didn't seem very vampirery
Was it Batman or Wolverine?
